Warm, homely, welcoming cottage, really comfortable and cosy, location is perfect for that remote wilderness feel, and the little station close by was a real bonus for exploring the area, so quiet and peaceful, we had three days but managed to explore Glencoe, travel up the Nevis Range in a Gondola, cross the Glenfinnen viaduct, visit Mallaig, Fort William and eat in the lovely village pub in walking distance, the walks from the cottage are stunning, could not fault the place

Our recent stay at Jill's place was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a cosy heaven. The interior design was a beautiful blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. We were welcomed by handwritten beautiful note by Jill. Living room was adorned by sofas and literally a library consisting of more than 1000 books. It had a fireplace too. Kitchen was equipped with all the essential crockery and all the spices, condiments and everything you can think of. Beds were so comfortable with soft and luxurious linens, duvets and pillows. First floor bathroom was so huge and with all the necessary items. It had a beautiful outdoor garden and a glass-covered seating area with more than 20 boardgames. While AirBnb was a heaven, Jill was the best host I've ever met. She welcomed us with warm greetings and a basket of local goodies. This is short of 1000 characters or this deserves a whole book written on this heaven AirBnb of my life .Definitely recommended. Thanks Jill

A Wonderful Last-Minute Find! We ended up at this Airbnb completely by chance after realizing our original booking had somehow been reserved for next year (oops!). It was a last-minute scramble but we couldn’t have been luckier to find this place! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. They even left us a sweet note along with some thoughtful goodies—prosecco, fresh bread, milk and butter—which was such a kind surprise after a long day of travel and unexpected changes. The place itself was spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this space feel like a true home away from home. What started as a booking mishap turned into a lovely little escape and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a better spot. Thank you again—and we truly hope to visit again someday! 😊
