Welcome to Copper Craftsman

Experience one of Montana's most historic communities from the comfort of Copper Craftsman, a beautifully restored home tucked into Butte's welcoming University District.

Originally built during Butte's legendary copper mining era, this thoughtfully updated Craftsman blends historic character with modern conveniences, creating a comfortable retreat whether you're visiting for work, family, or adventure.

Located just blocks from Montana Tech, you'll enjoy one of Butte's most walkable neighborhoods. Stroll to local coffee shops, restaurants, and St. James Healthcare, or spend the day exploring the architecture, history, and vibrant businesses of historic Uptown.

When you're ready to venture farther, you're only minutes from many of Butte's most popular attractions, including:

• Montana Tech
• Historic Uptown Butte
• Berkeley Pit
• Stodden Park & Ridge Waters
• World Museum of Mining
• Big Butte and the iconic "M"
• Mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and countless Southwest Montana adventures

Whether you're in town for a Montana Tech visit, a concert or festival, work at the hospital, or simply looking for a relaxing Montana getaway, Copper Craftsman offers an authentic Butte experience with the comforts of home.

You'll have full access of the home and the yard.

Born out of a love for the hospitality industry and the outdoors. Switchback Premier Adventure Properties’ vision is to enable everyone to get outside, do the things they love, and connect with the environment - all while supporting the communities that we serve. We are a husband & wife team that met in the ski industry 20+ years ago. We started this company out of our love of hosting – whether it is in our short-term rentals, exploring and sharing this region with visiting friends and family, or hosting holiday and Super Bowl parties at our home. We want to ensure every guest feels welcome and has the right info to make the most of their trip.
