Verborgen aan het einde van een onverharde (soms besneeuwde 😉) tweebaansweg in het Pere Marquette State Forest, ligt dit schattige kleine toevluchtsoord direct aan Spider Lake—echt van de gebaande paden met geen nabije buren in zicht. Klaar voor wat serieuze R & R?

Nachtelijke verblijven zijn beschikbaar in de winter, herfst en lente, terwijl de zomer van zondag tot zondag is en komt met een pontonboot om je te helpen cruisen, drijven en te genieten van het leven aan het meer.

De cottage ligt aan een rustige baai van het sportieve Spider Lake in Grand Traverse County. Hier voel je je heerlijk in het midden van nergens… en toch is Traverse City een gemakkelijke rit verder wanneer avontuur (of koffie) roept.

Breng alles mee wat je nodig hebt—je wilt misschien niet meer vertrekken zodra je aankomt. Maar als de honger toeslaat, is Peegeo’s Restaurant in de buurt met een groot, populair menu.

Traverse City biedt veel om te verkennen als je je sociaal voelt, maar een eerlijke waarschuwing: de rust en stilte kunnen je aan het meer houden. ❄️ Wintergasten moeten een 4x4 meenemen, want sneeuw van het meer komt graag even hallo zeggen!

I've lived here on Spider Lake for 30 years. We raised two sons here, now I"m a gramma to twin boys. My husband Rolf and I owned Harolds Resort and Livery for 27 years. I"m a widow now and ready to slow down ?? .. not quite yet !! . You will find be bouncing around the lake in my Jeep, or floating in the middle of it on a boat. I still have the Boat Rental Business and a couple vacation rentals... Come and hang out on the lake with me. Kathy
