Welcome to 44 Latitude, a fully remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath A-frame tucked into 5 private wooded acres just 2 miles from Shanty Creek Resort. Spend the evenings by the gas fireplace or around the fire pit under the string lights. Spend the days on Torch Lake, five championship golf courses, the Chain of Lakes, ski runs and local wineries and breweries. Starlink Wi-Fi and a Generac generator keep everything running, whatever the season.

The space
44 Latitude provides all the necessities of home to make your stay effortless. The cottage offers over 1500 square feet of living space, central heating/air, and is equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi and a backup generator. The main level has an open floor plan with plenty of seating, an oversized granite kitchen island, two bedrooms, and one full bathroom. Upstairs includes a large loft, washer and dryer, and a spacious primary bedroom with a private full bath. Please see below for additional details:

Kitchen: Gas stove, oven, microwave, and fridge. Fully stocked with pots/pans, plates, glasses, utensils, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, and crockpot.

Living Room: 55" QLED Smart TV with Amazon Firestick and gas fireplace

Bathrooms: The main level bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. Each bathroom has a hairdryer.

Main Floor Bedroom 1: King size bed with memory foam mattress, closet space, ceiling fan, reading lights, and blackout curtains

Main Floor Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (twin bed on top, full bed on bottom with memory foam mattress) and a separate full size bed with memory foam mattress, closet space with a dresser, ceiling fan, and blackout curtains

Upstairs Bedroom: Private primary bedroom with king memory foam mattress, on suite bathroom, two closets with dressers, ceiling fan, reading lights, and blackout curtains

Upstairs Loft: 46" smart TV with Amazon Firestick, couch with an additional full size sofa bed, and washer and dryer

Outdoors: Large deck with patio table and chairs, propane grill, fire pit area with chairs, and string lights. Shed available to store skis or golf clubs. Plenty of parking for cars, boats, or ORV/snowmobile trailers. Access to the Cedar River within the neighborhood.

-We advise guest to bring own firewood in case previous guest have used the supply up and owners could get replacement before rental.

Please note, the woods surrounding the neighborhood are home to a variety of wildlife. Although typically harmless to humans, bobcats and bears have been spotted on rare occasions.

Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the detached garage. Guests will also have access to the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tub at the Lakeview Hotel as well as the indoor pool and hot tub at Shanty Creek Resort
