Bear's Den is located in beautiful & scenic Wears Valley area between Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Being in the Wears Valley area put you close to some many fun things to do. Just 10 minutes to either the Metcalf Bottoms entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park or the Townsend entrance to the park. Just 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge!!

This one bedroom spacious cabin is located on a private semi-secluded road. Simple but cozy cabin includes all of the amenities you could want on your vacation or weekend getaway. Makes a great place to stay for any couple looking for some rest and relaxation in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Bear's Den includes a fully equipped kitchen so that you can cook a simple breakfast or romantic dinner for that special someone. The bath room includes a stand up shower & vanity, The living area has a comfy reclining loveseat, arm chair, coffee table and flat screen TV with YouTubeTV, streaming ability and DVD player. The cabin also includes free wireless internet so that you can keep up with home if you would like.

There is a king sized memory foam bed in this cabin so that you can enjoy a long nights sleep and wake up refreshed and ready to conquer the world. The bedroom also has a nice dresser to put your clothing away and room darkening curtains for sleeping in.

Outside you will find a covered hot tub and deck with comfortable outdoor furniture, great for that morning coffee or just sitting out in nature and ready a good book. There is also a charcoal BBQ grill and bistro table for outside dining. For that cool evening, we've included a propane fire table to keep you warm.

For your safety & security, there is a camera on the exterior of this cabin pointing down the exterior steps that you must access to get in to this cabin. There are no other cameras and nothing that would impede on your privacy.

We've worked hard to provide a wonderful cabin at a great price for our guests to enjoy. Cleanliness is a priority with us so you'll always find the cabin very clean upon arrival.

IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day

FOR OUR PET FRIENDLY VISITORS:

PETS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO RESERVATION. We reserve the right to refuse any pet at any time. We would like for you and your family (including the four legged members) to have the best vacation ever and appreciate your willingness to abide by these guidelines.

*We only accept dogs, no cats allowed. We only accept 2 pets per reservation.

*We charge a $70.00 per stay per pet fee which is not refundable.

*Your dog must be on a flea maintenance program. (Like Frontline, Advantage, etc.)

*Your dog must be crated while left in the cabin alone.

*Your dog must not get on our furniture. If we find pet hair on our furniture upon your departure, you will be charged $10.00 per each quilt/comforter/sofa that must be cleaned to remove dog hair.

*If your dog damages our vacation home in any way, ie, urine on the carpet/floor, chewed furniture/walls/doors or molding, you will be held responsible for the damage repair costs.

*Your dog must be leashed when on the outside of the cabin. This is for the safety of your dog as there may be other animals in the area that could harm your beloved pet.

Check-In:

*3pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

Check-Out:

*10am - Please follow our check out guidelines.

Common Concerns:

*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.

*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.

*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
