Plakias Sunset villa is located at Mariou Village, in Finikas in Rethymno. Mariou is a traditional, quiet village with the famous village of Plakias at just 5 minutes distance by car. At the village there is a very nice tavern, called TavernaMariou and a few local traditional cafe’s (Kafeneio). Next to the village there one more beautiful village,Myrthios, while in the famous beach of Plakias you can find bakery shops, mini markets, tavernas and many different shops. Mariou village it’s a very nice location to explore all the nearby beaches, like, Damnoni, Sougia, Sxoinaria at a small distance of 15 min. driving. The altitude of the village is also ideal for breathtaking sunsets. Lastly, you should know that you are only 35 km away from Rethymno city centre, if you want to make a tour in the picturesque old town and do some shopping during your holidays!
