The LucKY Lodge is off the beaten path, but not far! Nestled in the treeline on the side of a hill in a newer cabin development, it is cute and cozy, but not missing any of the comforts of home! The hot tub offers complete relaxation, while a wrap around porch and plenty of windows let in the natural light. A vaulted ceiling and loft area provide you with that traditional cabin look and feel, but there are modern touches like full kitchen, granite countertops, stainless appliances, & SmartTVs.

We want you to choose accommodations that fit your style, and if that isn't the Lucky Lodge, we understand.
The pictures make our cabin look great, but it is VERY HILLY (just like most places around here) and it is IN THE WOODS and the ROAD IS ROUGH to get to it. Most folks find that they need 4WD to get out. Also, as it is a cabin, there are a few eccentricities, like bugs, animals, and critters of all kinds! Well water, which has pressure drops at times, and If you aren't into these little things that give our cabin character, probably best to book elsewhere. But if you can compromise on a few little things, the trade off is PEACE and QUIET and NATURE!

We are about 3/4 mile off Highway 15. The area is a cabin subdivision with lots of other cabins, so you won't have total seclusion, but we have over 1 acre, so you won't be right on top of anyone either. This is a new development, so the roads are very rough. IT IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED THAT YOU DRIVE A VEHICLE WITH SOME GROUND CLEARANCE, 4WD is recommended. Road conditions change drastically based on weather. If you drive a car, there are places where you will scrape and drag and possibly get stuck! Four wheel drive is a must during winter months.
Once you get to the cabin, there is enough room to easily park 3-4 cars. Stay on the gravel, or you are likely to get stuck! Best to pull past our drive and turn around at the turn around spot and pull back down the hill.
The cabin is on a 16' x 40' frame with a wrap around porch, that is covered on one side. Inside, you will be greeted by a living room and full kitchen with vaulted ceiling. The kitchen boasts a full size fridge and stove, a dishwasher, and granite countertops. Check the amenities list to see exactly what we have available. Pine tongue and groove abounds, with gorgeous reclaimed flooring made up of a variety of hardwoods.
Upstairs is a loft bedroom area with a king bed and two twin beds. Back the hall is the master bedroom, bathroom, owner's closet, and laundry area that is available for guest use.
There are TV's in both the living room and the master bedroom.
We also have a limited amount of baby gear available for guest use. There is a travel bassinet, a pack n play, a fabric excersaucer type thing. If you need a gate for the stairs or a high chair, you'll need to bring those.
Please be aware, this is a CABIN in the WOODS! It comes with peace, quiet, tranquility and NATURE. There are bugs, spiders, and other varmints which comes with having a dwelling in this type of setting. We can't control the comings and goings of pests, and won't be able to issue a refund for such things.
Guest's will have access to the entire house except for the owner's closet under the stairs.
I live about 2 hours away, so I'm not readily available, but please message me through the app or website if you need anything. I have team members in the area that can respond to emergencies.
This is a very new cabin subdivision called Victory Falls. It is immediately behind another smaller cabin development called Sunset Valley. With that said, the roads are rough and you need to cross a creek twice to access the cabin. A VEHICLE WITH GROUND CLEARANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I have taken my wife's van back to the cabin, but to does drag a bit at the creek crossings. A low vehicle like a Mustang or other sports car will probably not make it.
The last mile to the cabin is rough and steep in some places. It is recommended to have a vehicle with some ground clearance.
The driveway has space to park at least 4 vehicles. Turning a trailer around is possible, but difficult in this area.
This is a new development, so the roads are very rough. I highly suggest a vehicle with some ground clearance like a truck or SUV. If you drive a car, there are places where you will scrape and drag! Four wheel drive is a must during winter months. The roads will be gradually be getting more attention as more cabins are finished in the subdivision, so message me if you have questions.
