This beautiful 3 bedroom White Mountain chalet is surrounded by gorgeous woods and mountain views from every window. Spread out, relax, and recover in three stories of comfortable spaces, cozy couches, and brand new mattresses. Our hot tub is YEAR-ROUND.

The chalet is the perfect getaway spot for couples, families & groups because it feels remote when you are inside, but is just minutes from New Hampshire’s best outdoor adventure spots and recreational destinations.

This beautiful chalet has been fully renovated in 2020 with all new stainless steel appliances, new beds and mattresses, all new furniture, and hotel-quality bedding. If your New Hampshire vacation plan is to get away and then just stay in, you’ll have everything you need (just grab groceries on your way!) to enjoy your stay here.

The main living space has beautiful 18 foot pine ceilings, an open floor plan, large windows - all with forest views - and an impressive brick chimney with a wood stove as the room’s centerpiece. The best spot in the house is anywhere in the living room, which features all brand new furniture- you’ll have to decide what you like best. The large oversized sectional sofa has seats that recline, comfy pillows and plenty of soft throw blankets. There’s a separate recliner chair facing the wood stove and a three person couch right in front of the fire, for those who want to be the coziest. The ottoman is stocked with playing cards and board games and provides even more seating. The living room is framed by a 350 SF large private south-facing deck overlooking forest, with incredible views of the White Mountains. In the winter, you can see ice waterfalls and (if you're lucky) you can occasionally spot ice climbers in the distance, from the deck. In the summer, it is an ideal spot for grilling and relaxing.

Outside, enjoy a 7-person private hot tub overlooking the 2 acres of wooded forest, a brand new stainless steel grill, conversation patio seating, and a large patio dining set. Or take a walk in the wooded forest filled with oak, elm, ash, aspen, and birch trees.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all brand new stainless steel appliances, accompanied by a beautiful refurbished vintage sink that gets all the compliments and everything from a crockpot for easy meals, to a Kitchenaid for baking. In the morning, make yourself a quick pot of gourmet coffee or indulge in a latte or cappuccino with the Ninja coffee maker.

The bedrooms all have new comfortable mattresses and pillows, and premium soft hotel-quality sheets and bedding. The bathrooms have large fluffy towels, soaps, shampoos and all the necessities.

Our loft bedroom is a big but cozy space with a pitched ceiling, a king bed, a private half bathroom, and gorgeous views out the windows of the sky and forest. It is a pretty incredible place to wake up.

Downstairs, there’s a second living space with a door out to the forest, a large sectional couch, and a 65inch TV equipped with Hulu, Netflix, and HBO for access to thousands of movies and TV shows. Note: we have streaming services, but no cable TV.

The lower level also has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed and luxurious bedding. There is also a twin bunkbed in the downstairs main room.

The large dining room seats 8, with comfortable cushioned chairs, an antler chandelier, and plenty of dishware for large meals and big groups.

The laundry room has an extra large washer and dryer, so if you need to do laundry, you can do it all at once and can spend your time relaxing and going out on adventures instead of tending to your chores.

Throughout the house, we’ve taken great care to furnish the place with comfortable seating, bedding and gathering areas, soft textiles, and art that highlights the beauty of the area and the unique features of the house. We try to make sure we’ve thought of everything so that your stay will be comfortable, relaxing and carefree.

Our hope is that staying in our Chalet helps to make your time in the white mountains memorable, fulfilling, and relaxing.

A couple notes: You will not have cell service at the house, but there is WiFi internet and a land line at the house that you can use to make or receive calls during your stay (you can also make calls and send/receive texts using the WiFi if preferred). The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Finally, note that this house is in Crawford Notch in White Mountain National Forest, which is accessible via Highway 302. All the homes in Crawford Notch are within 500 feet or so of the highway due to restricted development. Our home is about 150 feet from the highway on a dirt road, and depending on the season the roadway may be visible through the trees. While the home sits on 2 acres of private land, some roadway noise may be heard while outside the home.

The chalet sits on 2 acres of beautiful wooded terrain, located centrally just outside Bartlett in White Mountain National Forest. The house is located in historic Crawford Notch across the street from the Saco River, and is equal distance (15 minutes) from Bretton Woods and Attitash Ski Resorts, or 30 minutes to Wildcat. Close to everything, yet isolated from the hustle and bustle. Head to the gorgeous Mount Washington Hotel, or Bartlett and Glen for dozens of restaurants, all within 15 minutes. Shopping in North Conway is a quick 30 minute drive.
