Galleon's Rest is a superb property in a up-market & much sought-after holiday location. It offers a fantastic holiday base & the spectacular Charlestown harbour (often used as a TV/film location) is a mere 5 min walk away. Surrounded by an eclectic mix of shops, cafes, bars & stylish restaurants it has a sophisticated feel & a great holiday vibe.

Next to the harbour is The Shipwreck Museum & also the beach -overlooked by The Pier House Inn, renowned for its waterfront position & great food.Galleon's Rest is laid out over three floors offering comfortable and luxury accommodation with private parking and fully enclosed garden space.

The garden has been professionally designed and landscaped to enhance the space and create a pleasant ambience-particularly suited to warm evenings spent outdoors with barbecue, chiminea and a a luxury private hot tub which is available for hire.

Guests wishing to book the hot tub need to make this known at the time of booking or prior to arrival (with as much notice as possible but at least 72 hours in advance) as late requests cannot always be guaranteed. The hot tub is professionally cleaned, sanitised and refiilled between bookings and so hire depends on the availability of the hot tub company to provide this service. The hot tub is charged extra upon arrival and arrangements can be made to pay the hot tub company direct.

On entering you arrive into a spacious entrance hall, providing access to a double bedroom, family bathroom and a bedroom with bunk beds and a pull out bed from under the bottom bunk. On the first floor there is a large open plan area with 2 sofas, an extendable dining table and a 55’’ wall-mounted smart TV

The kitchen sits just off the living/dining spaces and is extremely well equipped.

On the second floor there is the an extremely spacious master bedroom with TV, ensuite & sofa bed (suitable for 2 small children)

Outside there is a small garden with seating, BBQ & hot tub (as stated above, the hot tub is available for hire separately.) We have decided to make this an optional facility rather than a mandatory charge as not all guests require a hot tub so naturally should not have to pay for it.

Galleon's Rest is approached through a private courtyard for occupants which offers off road parking with two spaces. If you have an over-sized or large vehicle then the space is only suitable for one vehicle although parking is available on the road outside the property.
