Old Park Subdivision - Grand County, CO
Old Park is located 15 miles northwest of Kremmling, north of Hwy 134. Most homes have about 5 acres. The subdivision is easily accessible with county maintained roads throughout. The neighborhood offers a variety of terrain including heavy trees, open with sage or grass, expansive views and some are adjacent to national forest. Electricity is run thru 90% of the area; homes have household wells and septic systems.
Old Park is popular with individuals who enjoy the outdoors, especially winter snowmobiling because of connections to multiple trails. Hunters enjoy the area due to national forest access. Red Dirt Reservoir is easily accessed and enjoyed in the summer.
The 2018 fires burned through this area and burn scars are evident from some main roads, but mother nature is resilient and the beauty of regrowth has begun.
Getting around requires a vehicle that can handle country roads and mountainous conditions. There is not public transportation nearby. The nearest town and its surroundings include about 1,400 residents.
Hiking and biking is terrific in the summer months and snow shoeing or cross country skiing is possible all winter.
