One room rustic cabin. - Coshocton

Nestled in the woods at the top of a mile long lane, this little oasis is just the place for hunters to relax and enjoy the country setting. This rustic 1 room cabin is near the main house. We are close by and available. It includes your own fire pit, gas grill, festive outdoor lighting, a fully stocked kitchen and full bath and more than enough space to pull in and park your trailer and ATV. It is a mile from Woodbury Wildlife area, one of the largest state hunting areas in Ohio.

The space
Before making your decision to reserve please know that this cabin is very basic and rustic. It is one room and a Bathroom complete with a walk in shower. It has 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. You will see a small vineyard across the lane and a large fire pit in the back yard area surrounded by trees and outdoor lights. There is a large covered pavilion available for use with prior request. There is plenty of parking with room for trucks with trailers to haul ATVs. You maybe greeted by Josie the squirrel dog. The lane is almost a mile long and hilly. If there is snow or ice, you will need 4x4 to get here.
You are in the country and while we try to keep mice and ants outside, they do occasionally get in. We do have cell service here. We now have Wi-Fi available also.

You may hear a vehicle drive past ,
Sometimes it is required that we use our tractor as we do have a few cattle and pasture behind our residence,
Lawn care may need to be completed,
Rarely, after winds or a storm, there could be a tree or limb across the lane which requires the use of a chainsaw.
We make every effort to ensure that the surroundings are tranquil.

Guest access
You are welcome to use the area around the cabin including the fire pit, pavilion (with approval) and extra parking area.

Other things to note
This is a basic place in the woods. The cabin is just over 600 sf with wood floors that are not all level and not comfy on bare feet. There are rugs for comfort but you may want to bring slippers or slide on shoes for lounging. No need to remove shoes or boots when walking inside (Unless they are visibly covered in mud). There is a gas furnace for heat but it can get a little drafty so dress in layers. There is a wall unit air conditioner and a fan.

The kitchen is complete with a full size electric stove, refrigerator with a freezer, microwave and coffee maker with coffee, sugar and creamer. If you need anything that’s not there, let us know while you are here. Please don’t wait until after your stay. We truly want your stay to be as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
