Our main bedroom has this incredible view, a super comfortable king size bed with luxury linen, original artwork and an adjoining ensuite. Just close the curtains for a nice sleep in.
We're SO close. Not only to all the action down by the river and on the beach, but to the cafe, IGA and the Country Club too.

Enjoy our deck any time of the year. Dim the festoon lights, grab a wine and enjoy some good company while watching the sun go down.
Our brand new kitchen features a 900mm electric stove/gas cooktop, 5 stage water filter, giant fridge with ice maker, cold water dispenser and Miele dishwasher. Add in breadmaker, toastie machine, rice cooker, brilliant knives and you're all set!
The 'Sage' queen room . We've purchased the same comfy mattresses for all the beds - tried and tested by me (with a 'bad back'). They're called the Englander Seattle by Beds n Dreams. (Everyone asks...) Fluffy towels for each guest too!
If it's too chilly or hot to enjoy the sunset outside, enjoy it from the inside. I'll sit here thanks!
Comfort is our main priority....
Our dining table seats 6, but slide it open, slip in the extra leaf and grab the extra chairs for a comfy dinner for eight!
The front of the house with that expansive front deck. Please keep the kids from exploring underneath the house. We are surrounded by bush...
The main bedroom. King size bed, Sheridan linen with generous thermal curtains you can close for a sleep-in or wee siesta. This main bedroom has an ensuite with shower and toilet.

My dad made me this pair of adirondack chairs and the table out of jarrah for my birthday. They're so comfy. It's so nice sitting there having a G&T and relaxing while watching the sun go down.
Electric blankets are on the beds in our twin room for winter.
Close the curtains and cozy up...

Never get tired of it… seriously that Indian Ocean sunset is just magic.
The new bathroom that was added along with the main bedroom just a short time ago. We supply quality towels and bedlinen for your stay too. Just bring your overnight bag, hat, beach towel and some food for your stay.
I've set this room up for women to comfortably sleep for girls' weekends or teenagers to 'hang'. With the same Englander mattresses as in all the rooms on the bottom and high end memory foam on the top - everyone will be comfy. Promise.
The front of the house. Lots of room on the front deck for balmy summer nights listening to the ocean.
Luxury flax linen bedding and the comfiest of mattresses makes sleeping a joyful experience. All you need is the pitter patter of rain on the tin roof.

The main bedroom - a king size bed for the big and tall, or just those who like a bit of extra room. This room with its adjoining ensuite was added to the house just a few years ago. As you can see, a beautiful space to relax in and wake up in.
See, smell and hear the ocean...
“Guildy” custom original painting by artist Sharon Peterkin for you to enjoy in our main bedroom.
Same comfy mattresses as the king and queen room. Our twin room has views to the river and ocean. There are two benches which fit a 'wheelie bag' comfortably on each.
Sunset time is extra special around here. You can see it from the front three bedrooms, living and dining areas, kitchen and of course the best one is from the front deck. This pic is from the Sky Blue twin room.
Our Twin sky blue room features original watercolour paintings by Sharon Peterkin, custom painted for the room. Sleep like a baby on the luxurious mattresses and read a book in the comfy book, glancing up at the view of the Moore to Sea!
Here's that view from the twin sky blue room... pretty special view to wake up to!
The twin room has plush carpet for that complete bedroom feel...
The mermaid room is adjacent to the bunk room which is next to the bathroom!
Lighting, comfort, power boards for charging -- we've tried to think of everything. I bought these cute pouffes in Ikea. I think they're perfect for kids and teens to chill. Nice soft rug to stretch out on too and rails behind the doors for towels.
Teenager-approved soft and cosy rug, a huge power board for charging devices, comfy mattresses (top for little kids only) and cosy doonas. The bunk room will also be airconditioned by summer 2022.
This painting is of Kalbarri - another place close to our hearts. It's by artist Paul Lucas. Nice to look at while you're cooking dinner, that's for sure. Comfy chairs for your observers to keep you company while you cook!
Our brand new kitchen. Shiny gloss cupboards and lots of soft closing drawers to put all your stuff in. We keep pantry essentials on hand - just in case.
Being coffee addicts ourselves, we got the latest Nespresso Vertuo machine. It takes the bigger capsules and knows exactly how much water to put in by the barcode on the pods. Clever huh? We'll supply some pods, but best to bring some too.
It's pressed tin and we love it. Easy to keep clean and easy on the eye too. 900mm oven to manage the biggest roast dinner.
And don't worry - those knives are pretty damn sharp. We sharpen them every time we go up. Don't you hate it when there's no sharp knives???
Ceiling fans all through the house mean you rarely need to turn on the aircon. But if it's hot, go for it.
It can get a bit windy here on the coast, but you can still enjoy the view if you decide to eat inside... Close the luxurious thermal curtains and it becomes warm and cosy too!
I call this the sun room because the morning sun in here is gorgeous. But we also refer to it as the mermaid room. Great room for playing games, replying to emails or having breakfast!
If it's windy out the front, it's protected out the back. Which is why we have another big table with shade and the BBQ
Sheltered from the wind, enjoy barbecuing on the back deck.
The lovely sea breeze comes in these windows. Wind them out and enjoy.
Wander down the hill to the foreshore pretty much any evening and you can take pics like this too. Taken on my iPhone. #nofilterneeded
That gorgeous white sand and aqua ocean with few people - even in peak season there's no crowds. Take plenty of long walks and breathe in the ocean air. It's just glorious.
Welcome to Moore to Sea…
This would've been the original front bedroom and window of the beach house. Left in place with the first extension, which enclosed the verandah and made a lounge space. This means our dusky pink room has river and ocean views too.
Many a meal has been had on this deck. We have a full range of quality unbreakable drinkware including champagne, martini, spirit & highball to avoid broken glass on the deck & falling through. But for the purists we have stemless wine glasses too.
When I unpack my eski of food, the first thing I look for is a fruit bowl. Don't you? Check...got one of those.
This is one of our unbreakable drinkware champers glasses. Champagne wasn't bad either...
Welcome! Apparently it's bad feng shui to have a mirror facing the front door -- so I put it next to the door. Check your hair before heading to the Country Club? It's just behind us... literally 5 mins walk.
Main bathroom.
Main bathroom. We keep one of the extra chairs for the dining table in here too. It’s handy for putting your clothes on while you shower...
En-suite bathroom - addition to the house along with the main king bedroom only a couple of years ago.
En-suite bathroom.
Ensuite bathroom with tiles up to the ceiling and quality towels. Afterall, we use them too (and I'm addicted to good quality linen and towels).
We considered changing this old shower head, but after having a shower in there I changed my mind quick smart - it’s a beauty!
Main bathroom. Right near the bunk room.
Main bathroom - quality towels are included in your stay.
Dining for 6 or 8 with the additional table leaf.
Lots of hooks for hanging hats, jackets and towels. Rails on the back of doors too...can never have too many right?
The mermaid room or sun room. Glorious on winter mornings.
We love art. We chose beautiful Peytil prints for the Terracotta room. Hope you like them. This room also has air conditioning ☺️
From the deck.

Yes, Moore to Sea has her own stationery! We're in the printing game, so couldn't help it. But the coasters not only protect our Scandi furniture, they're nice to take home and remember us by too ;-)
Front loading Maytag commercial Washer & Dryer (but if you want to relax and leave it all until you get home – we won’t judge you!)

Cook up a storm in our brand new kitchen with all the mod cons including latest Nespresso Vertuo Next coffee machine, 5 stage filtered water, utensils and pantry essentials, or take it outside to the brand new 4 burner barbeque.

Moore to Sea accommodates up to 10 people, although we recommend children only on the top bunks. A king size bed in our main bedroom for the big and tall (or just those who like a bit more room) and a recently added bathroom ensuite.

Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and twin singles in bedroom 3 - all with brand new quality mattresses and linen and with beautiful views to wake up to. Our bunk room has the same quality mattresses on the bottom bunks, so it’s super comfy for adults as well as kids and teens.

Although all our bedrooms and the kitchen/living areas are individually airconditioned, being so close to the ocean, the breeze and ceiling fans are often all you’ll need.

Guildy is such a peaceful little village…the aim is to relax. Listen to the ocean while reading a book in one of the many reading zones, wander down the hill for walks along the river and beach, paddle up the river to the dunes, or gather the gang and play one of the many board games we have in the sun room……And if the weather rolls in, close the curtains and enjoy a movie on the big (super smart) 65 inch TV and Bose Soundbar. Be sure to bring your Netflix password so you can pick up where you left off.

We’ve got NBN and unlimited data, so even teenagers streaming Youtube non-stop while you’re watching Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (and everyone checking Insta in the slow bits) won’t phase it.

Moore to Sea has it's own Spotify account, or connect your phone to the soundbar for Bluetooth streaming of your Spotify or Apple Music, or just use the smart TV music stations – it’ll all sound great. Simply log into any apps on the very clever, yet simple to use TV (Netflix, Prime TV, Disney etc.).Moore to Sea is as cosy and fun in the winter as it is in the summer.

We aim to have everything you need. Just bring a few clothes, a beach towel, sunscreen, hat and food – we’ll take care of the rest.

With all those windows and being so close to the ocean, we of course have them regularly cleaned. Our lawn & garden is maintained by us, but if you notice a pot plant or our herb garden that’s a bit dry, we’d appreciate it if you gave it a little drink.

Our house is suitable for adult groups and families. However we're honestly not the best choice for crawling babies or toddlers at the moment. Sitting on our deck might not be as relaxing as we would hope as you'll need to watch them very carefully! (Next project)

Location:
Just 5 minutes leisurely walk to the Guilderton Country Club where you can have a beer, a game of golf, tennis or an evening meal. Opening times are Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm.
Wander up to the roadhouse for fish n chips and a gaming centre next door, or down the hill to pick up supplies from the general store (open 7am to 7pm in summer and 8am to 6pm in the cooler months), a coffee, lunch or dinner at the café next door.

Send the kids down the little hill to the jetty where can catch some fish or take a refreshing swim in the ocean. Everything is walking distance!

Other things to note:
Laundry: Front loading Washer & Dryer (but if you want to relax and leave it all until you get home – we won’t judge you!)
Parking: There’s parking for 2 vehicles under the house as well as parking for another several vehicles in the driveway. Please don’t park on the lawn to protect our sprinklers!

Moore to Sea does have stair access, slopes and gravel, so may not be suitable for people who need walking assistance. But if a gentle slope up the side to the back door will work, you’re in!

Cleaning:
It takes Michelle our housekeeper 5-6 hours to clean the house including several loads of washing. This is what the cleaning fee is for (and often still doesn't cover it).

Moore to Sea is a different experience...All the little things we've added like water filter, aircon, luxury linen, wifi, super-smart tv etc. make the comfort experience one to remember - and come back for.

But don't take my word for it - read our reviews!

Get in touch for a longer stay rate. We hope to see you at Moore to Sea soon.

Cheers, Jodie (Your Host)

If you read my reviews, you'll see I'm a communicator and I strive for people to leave our place delighted in every way and tell all their friends!

My Moore to Sea 'Story':

After 27 years working often 7 days a week in our own paper & printing business, my partner Graham and I decided we wanted (needed) a place for some regular time out. But we had a checklist. It had to have an ocean view, be up to only 2 hours from Perth (I have a bad back and travelling too long in the car kills me!) and Airbnb-able to help us afford it.

On 30th April 2021 we made the final online auction bid on 'Moore to Sea' and on 7th July we got the keys! Of course, I'd already been shopping and planning...

We began the renovation immediately - removing ancient wardrobes and installing new plumbing, new floors, a gorgeous new kitchen and we painted throughout too. As with all renos, one thing uncovers another. It took a lot of weekends and hard work... (and it took a lot longer than we expected).

I set out to create a space where everything was considered and co-ordinated, yet comfy and not too precious. I want you to walk into Moore to Sea, leave your world and worries behind, breathe some sea air and rejuvinate just an hour from Perth...

Here's hoping you think I've achieved just that!

Cheers, Jodie
