Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire cabin and the surrounding two acres of property. For your convenience and privacy, we offer a seamless self-check-in process. A unique door code will be sent to you before your arrival, so there is no need to meet anyone for keys.
We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their vacation. We offer a contactless check-in and will not be present during your stay. Keep in mind these are winding mountain roads. Many of the best attractions are spread out. You will spend a lot of time in the car. The park is gorgeous but timely to navigate for first time flat-landers. There is no Cell Service once you're in the park so be prepared with maps or screen shots. There are no cabins inside the park other than the ones you may pass on certain hikes that are 100 years old and not inhabitable. It's a national park since 1934.
GATLINBURG: 8 mountain miles.
PIGEON FORGE: 6 Miles mountain miles.
Cade's Cove: 30 miles. 1 hour 30 minutes to get there. The loop at Cade's cove is 10.6 miles. Drive it, rent a bike at the start and bike it, or run it. It is closed to cars and open to runners and cyclists Wednesday and Saturday mornings until 10:00am Early May to Late September.
Clingman's Dome: 30 miles. This will take 3-4 hours round trip. There are plenty of amazing hikes at Newfound Gap on the way up such as Andrews Bald and "The Jump Off" and also on the way up to Clingman's Dome area. Those less adventurous should at the very least check out the observation tower at Clingman's dome.

If you want to stay on the flat lands this cabin is not for you.
Our cabin is at the top of a mountain off of a historic one lane logging road. Steep, one lane and gravel. Your car will not have any trouble getting up and down, we just like to make things perfectly clear. If you want the view you have to drive up!
If it has been raining your car will get dirty. You will need 4 wheel drive if it snows.
No refunds are given for weather so please check the forecast before you travel. 4x4 and Groceries if you're lucky enough to get snow.
* Seasonal Fireplace: The indoor electric fireplace is operational seasonally from October 1st to April 1st.
* Fire Safety: To prevent forest fires, open flames or fires of any kind are strictly prohibited indoors and outdoors. A charcoal grill is provided for your cooking needs.
* Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped for your stay. Please note there is no ice maker, so we suggest bringing a bag of ice for your beverages.
* Security: For your peace of mind, the property is monitored by exterior security cameras. These cameras are for security purposes only and do not infringe on any private guest areas.
