Our semi-private location less than 20 minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge offers access to everything from roller coasters to gorgeous hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Great for family and friends - and the bears you may see strolling by!

Kickin' Back Jack is a true log cabin with over 2,900 square feet of living space. Knotty pine floors, walls and ceilings create a rustic but tasteful atmosphere. Relax in the main floor's living room while the fireplace crackles. The open concept space also offers a large kitchen ready for you to whip up tasty home-cooked meals. We've even left empty cabinets to give you space to store your groceries. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, crockpot, blender, electric can opener and electric mixer are all included. The nearby dining table seats eight and offers lots of windows to enjoy the view. Seating for an additional three is provided at the kitchen bar. (Downstairs you'll find a 2nd refrigerator perfect for extra food & drinks as well as a 2nd stove for when you need to cook a really big meal.)

Play games or put together a puzzle at the dining table or up in the loft at the card table. Challenge your family and friends with the pool table, foosball and air hockey found in the downstairs game room. Relax in the hot tub or grab one of the books, take in the ever-changing view and just unwind. Enjoy the latest sporting event (including DirecTV) or movie on the flat screen TVs.

With three bedrooms, three loft sleeping areas and four bathrooms spread over three floors, this cabin is great for multiple couples or family groups. The main level has two bedrooms - one with a king bed and en-suite bath featuring a jetted tub. The other bedroom also offers a king bed and is next to the second full bathroom. A third bedroom (with queen bed) is located on the lowest level and features a large attached bathroom. Each bedroom has its own closet with full length mirrors. The remaining beds - a queen, a full and a twin - are in the loft along with a full bathroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and there are three fans in the loft.

Kickin' Back Jack provides a driveway plus a small parking area at the street to accommodate your cars. There are three social areas (living room, game room and loft) which allow folks to spread out and enjoy a variety of activities. The cabin has full size washer & dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a gas grill on the deck as well as a charcoal grill at the base of the driveway.

You're the best judge of whether a place is appropriate for your family and friends. We have a collection of toys and games/puzzles which are geared to children. We do not provide high chair, crib, gates or other similar items. We have had every age group visit us - newborns to great-grandma! Please don't hesitate to ask us questions.

Getting around

A car is required when visiting this area. We are on a paved county road, but it is a mountain road. During the winter snow tires or tire chains are recommended during bad weather. We offer a fairly large driveway, as well as a small, flat roadside parking space in front of the cabin.

Check-in is any time after 4 pm (Eastern time) on arrival day. Check-out is 10 am on day of departure. We need as much time as possible to clean and prepare the cabin between guest visits. You will be provided with the address of the cabin and a code for the door a few days before arrival.

NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY. If you are familiar with our area, you know we suffered catastrophic losses from fires in 2016 that were started by humans. We are all trying to be extra careful not to have a repeat. Your help is appreciated.

House Rules

READ these booking and rental conditions carefully. Please do not request booking if you are unable to agree to and abide by the following:


-- Renter agrees to owner's strict cancellation policy. Absolutely no refunds within 30 days of booked arrival date. Reservation will be refunded 50% of total nightly fees if cancelled more than 30 days prior to reservation arrival date. Full refund, 100%, if cancelled more than 60 days prior to reservation arrival date. Reservations cancelled by owner due to non-payment are not eligible for refunds of prior payment(s).

-- Renter acknowledges and will abide by Owner's booking and rental requirements, conditions listed here and the terms of the Rental Agreement. Rental Agreement will be sent for e-signature and must be signed and returned within 48 hours for booking to be accepted. Rental Agreement establishes all terms and conditions and supersedes all other agreements. If Rental Agreement is not signed and returned within 48 hours reservation will be cancelled and refunds, if any, will be subject to owner's cancellation policy (no refunds within 30 days of arrival date).

-- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old and be in residence at the cabin for the entire duration of the rental period. (No 3rd party bookings.)

-- Primary renter must provide a copy of driver's license within 48 hours of booking (you may black out license number for security). This is in addition to uploading ID to AirBnB.

-- Primary renter's PHOTO MUST BE DISPLAYED as the AirBnB profile picture. To Instant Book the Primary Renter must have provided a verified government ID, be recommended by other hosts and have no negative reviews.

-- Credit card used for all payments must be in the name of Primary Renter and must match name on driver's license provided.

-- Maximum number of guests is 10 (this includes adults and children). All persons are counted. Maximum number of adult guests is 8.

-- Sevier County charges a 3% lodging tax & 2.75% Sales Tax. The State of Tennessee charges a 7% sales tax. Renter agrees to pay tax in addition to nightly rental, cleaning, admin charges, damage deposit and any fees charged by AirBnB.

-- Security Deposit will be held up to a maximum of $400.00.

-- Primary renter must provide a valid email address for e-signing documents.

-- No smoking/vaping/pipes/hookahs etc. anywhere on property.

-- No pets/animals permitted.

-- Absolutely no house parties or events. Unauthorized gatherings which exceed occupancy maximum will results in eviction of all individuals, cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of all funds paid.

-- NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY on property or adjacent public right of way. Primary Renter is fully responsible and liable for any illegal activity by the Renter or anyone in Renter's party.

-- It is the responsibility of the Primary Renter (person signing the rental agreement) to advise ALL members of their party of house rules and conditions of the Rental Agreement.

-- Check-in is any time AFTER 4:00 PM eastern time. Check-out is 10:00 AM eastern time. Late check outs will be subject to additional charges including forfeiture of deposit.

-- Primary Renter and Renter's guests agree to maintain a proper water level in hot tub and follow all instructions/warnings found in Rental Agreement.

-- Use of property, grounds, amenities, fireplace, appliances, hot tub, grill, etc. is strictly at Renter's own risk. Minors must be supervised at all times by a parent or adult guardian.

-- Guest acknowledges and agrees to the presence of exterior surveillance devices which monitor the front porch and parking areas. Any tampering with, disabling, blocking or disconnecting the devices will result in immediate eviction from the property.

Payment Policy
At the time of reservation, 50% of the gross rent will be charged to your credit card. The remaining 50% is automatically charged to your credit card 30 days prior to the date of your arrival. Other payment options are our PayPal business account and Venmo. Guest of Record also must provide a copy of their driver’s license at time of reservation that matches the name on credit card used for payment. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be in residence for the entire booking period. (No third party rentals.) A credit card hold for $350 is required to cover the refundable security deposit.
