Kashigan Cabin - Intervale

Welcome to our home! We’re so happy you are looking to book your vacation with us! Understanding and complying with our house rules will make for a comfortable and fun stay for everybody.

1. Please treat our house with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests.
2. Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will make it much easier when check-out time comes!
3. We hope you have lots of laughter and fun times during your vacation! However, we’d really appreciate it if you’re mindful and keep noise to a minimum during nighttime hours from 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors, and we would like to keep a positive relationship with them but need your help with this.
4. Please no not smoke or vape in the house.
5. Never leave children unsupervised at our property without any adults. The backyard is safe to play, but as a reminder, we are in the woods and bears and wildlife frequent all the yards in the area. There is also a train track on the side of our property, the Conway Scenic Railroad, so another reason to supervise children at all times.
6. Always report any accidental damages or breakages in a timely manner, especially before check-out.
7. In case of any accidental damage, we will work with you to determine a fair replacement cost to cover the damages.
8. The unfinished side of the attic and the basement is private and locked, please do not attempt to open either door.
9. We know you love your pet, but we ask that you please don’t let them up onto the furniture, especially sofas and beds.
10. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in and outside of the home.
11. Pets must not be outside of the property without a leash. You are welcome to bring your dog down to the River, but please keep them leashed at all times.
12. There are some spices, condiments and other imperishable foods in the kitchen pantry and fridge, which you are free to use as you wish. Always check the expiration date before eating anything. We always make sure not to leave expired food in the house, but oversights may happen.
13. Please do not put any food down the drains as we have a septic system we would love to keep in good health.
14. Please do not flush any sanitary products down the toilet. We provide a trash bin for this in the bathroom under the sink.
15. Please collect all garbage and leave it the kitchen the day you depart for the cleaner to take to the local dump.
16. There are two trash barrels in the kitchen. If you produce more trash than the two barrels, it is your responsibility to dispose of the additional trash beyond the two barrels. Please do not leave any trash outside.
17. Cleaning products are under the sink in both the kitchen and bathroom. If any products run out during your stay, please let us know so we can replace them for the next guests.
18. We’ve provided dish soap, hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper for your use. If you run out, please replace it so the next house guess is not left without.
19. Please make sure you switch off lights, fans or conditioning when going out – we’re an eco-friendly home!
20. No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, satellite or telephone service (hopefully mother nature is kind to us and this never happens).
21. Please park in front of the house or no further than the first flower bed. Our septic system is to the left of the side door and we would prefer it doesn’t get crushed by your car!
22. The river beach rules must be followed at all times. No exceptions. If you are not following them, the neighbors will outreach us immediately and you will hear from us. If you do not follow the beach rules you will be asked to leave the beach and will not be able to rent from us again. Please take them very seriously as this is a shared space.
23. Please use the shoe basket in the porch to minimize sand being brought into the house.
24. Please ensure you read and fully understand the house rules at the booking and then again at the beginning of your stay. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.
