The space
Welcome to your private jungle escape — a luxurious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath villa nestled in the lush green hills of Valle de Luz, a once-forgotten development that nature decided to reclaim (and upgrade).

Surrounded by dense jungle and visited daily by howler monkeys, colorful birds, and the occasional curious creature, this secluded hideaway is the perfect blend of comfort and wild. With a tiled pool, expansive outdoor living space, and a fully stocked kitchen, you'll have everything you need to relax in style.

Inside, you’ll find two master bedrooms with king beds (one upstairs, one down), plus a third bedroom with a queen bed — all with private ensuite bathrooms and spa-style showers equipped with fancy multi-spray systems for the full rainforest rinse.

You're just 7 minutes from the town of Cobano, 15 minutes from Montezuma’s beaches and waterfalls, and 25 minutes from the surf and scene of Santa Teresa — close enough for a day trip, far enough for peace and privacy.

Whether you're sipping coffee while monkeys swing through the trees or floating in the pool with nothing but birdsong for background noise, this is Costa Rica at its most magical.

A note about getting here....the roads to Valle de Luz are paved if you're coming from Liberia or San Jose. However once you get through the gates of the community you are on a dirt road. You can get by without it, but we recommend a 4x4. It's also more fun when you're exploring!!

Guest access
The entire house is yours to enjoy. There is only one locked pantry inside the house for the owners possessions.

Other things to note
Guest Info Required: All guests must provide full names and ID numbers prior to arrival for security gate access. No exceptions.

No Pets: We love animals, but Casa Colibrí is for humans only.

No Parties or Events: If the monkeys are the rowdiest neighbors, you’re doing it right.

Keep it fresh—no smoking or vaping on the property please! We love fresh air and a clean yard. A $500 fine will apply if there are signs of smoking. But we're sure that won't be an issue!!

Registered Guests Only: No visitors not on the reservation....Community rules.

Respect the Wildlife: The jungle is their home—please be a respectful guest

Please note there is no railing around the backside of the pool so please be cautious with children. No walking or standing on the side ledge.
