A fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space providing all the amenities of home! Stainless steel pots and utensils, toaster, microwave, blender, a tea kettle and an electric hand mixer.

Our expansive coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar including a Keurig, French press, coffee grinder, Keurig pods, small batch artisan roasted coffee beans and an assortment of loose teas and tea bags.

The cabinets are stocked with plates, bowls, tumblers, coffee cups, wine glasses and beer mugs. A gourmet selection of salts and cooking spices from around the world!

Both bedrooms have Smart TVs, luggage racks, hangers, full length mirrors, a vanity mirror, extra blankets, lots of pillows, fans and air purifiers.

The main bedroom is is conveniently located off of the kitchen and has it's own private spa like bathroom. It is furnished with a very comfortable and large queen sized bed and a separate full size daybed with a trundle bed underneath. There are 2 Smart TVs one in the bedroom and one in the attached bathroom, extra pillows and a handheld garment steamer and iron.

The secondary bedroom is off of the main living area and is furnished with a full over full size bunk bed. This bedroom offers privacy as well as entertainment with the Classic Pac-Man Arcade game or chill and watch your favorite show using the adjustable tv that accommodates both beds.

Please plan accordingly, two cars are permitted to be parked in the driveway; there is no street parking or additional parking nearby. The driveway is paved.

Please note...there are cameras located at the driveway and entrances of the property. These are solely on the exterior of the property. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other property policies. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in the immediate removal of guest(s) and forfeiture of all amounts paid.

𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗟
Snow removal services are supposed to arrive within 24 hours of any snowfall more than 4+ inches, to clear the driveway and a pathway to the main entrance. Snow removal companies cannot guarantee a specific time the property will be serviced. Therefore, guests may have to shovel a spot to park if they arrive before the snow removal company or if it snows during their stay. There have been times in larger storms (2ft+ of snowfall) when snow removal can take longer. It doesn’t happen often, and our other guests have always been able to make it work. Just know that in those cases we are doing everything we can to get someone out there.

𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥

Chains or 4WD/AWD vehicle requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Guests booking a stay in the winter should be prepared for the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. We recommend arriving before dark; guests arriving late during the winter months may encounter icy roads and long delays.

The home does not have central air-conditioning, but rather during the warmer summer months the cabin’s main living area includes a large portable floor AC unit. Central AC is not typical for mountain cabins. Powerful oscillating circulator fans are also provided in all rooms.

While enjoying your time at Golden Mountain, Big Bear requires us to remind all guests to please observe the following rules and community expectations for guests staying in residential neighborhoods. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No outdoor activities including NO HOT TUB USE AFTER 10pm. Hot tub must be covered and locked whenever not in use, and after 10pm. Other Owners have reported guests receiving noise disturbance citations even for talking loudly on their deck after 10pm. 4. Trash: Guests must deposit their trash at one of the city's free 24/7 collection sites on the way out of town. The closest site to our cabin is Clean Bear Site #2 – 39690 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, 92315. (Additional site: Clean Bear Site #1 – 41970 Garstin Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.) If you are unable to take your trash with you for any reason, our cleaners will take the trash upon check-out at a fee of $40 per bag. 5. No Third-Party Bookings: Primary guest must be present for all days of the reservation and is held responsible for the behavior of all additional guests. 6. Primary guest must be age 25+, unless otherwise approved by owners in writing. 7. No smoking, vaping, drugs, or firearms of any kind allowed on the property at anytime--inside or outside. If smoking is desired, guest will need to walk to the public street. If any sign of smoking or vaping is discovered, the guest authorizes the owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. 8. No weather/road related cancellations. ADDITIONAL HOST RULES: A. Disclaimer for families with infants (Under 2 years) and young children: No childproof cabinet locks, no outlet covers. You assume all risk and liability for your child during your stay at this property. B. No standing, sitting, or climbing on railings, fence or roof. C. Hot Tub: Must be covered and locked when not in use for safety, as well as keeping pine needles, insects, and dirt out. Please do not add any bath salts, bubbles, color, spa scents, dried herbs/tea, etc. to the Hot Tub. There will be a $100 fee to cover extra cleaning service if the hot tub is left uncovered when not in use or if anything is put in or added to the Hot Tub. D. Dirty Dishes: Please wash dishes prior to checkout (no need to put them away). You can leave clean dishes out to dry and our housekeeping team will put them away for you. A $40 fee will be incurred for dirty dishes left behind. E. DO NOT put food, veggies, oil, grease, or any trash down the sink. F. Guest(s) should not leave the BBQ unattended at any time. Guest(s) are responsible for turning the gas off at the propane tank after use. If the barbecue is left dirty a $40 fee will be incurred. G. Absolutely no lighter fluid, confetti, glitter or water balloons are allowed on property. There will be a $100 fee to cover extra cleaning services if any remnants are found. H. Accidents can happen, please report any damage prior to checkout so we can communicate and set proper expectations for our next guests. ↓ ↓ 2 house-trained and friendly dogs over 1 yr+ are welcomed with a one time $150 non-refundable pet fee; additional dogs may be allowed w/ an added pet fee. Our full pet policy is located below. a) Well-behaved, potty-trained pets only. b) Indoor piddle pads are not allowed. c) No chewers or scratchers – we have a lot of wood inside our cabin that could be easily damaged by a pet. d) You MUST clean up after your pet: Clean up and dispose of pet waste and sweep/vacuum all pet hair left behind. e) Never leave dog unattended. f) Guest is responsible for pet at all times. g) Guest are to take reasonable action to not allow pet from creating a nuisance, annoyance and disturbance to the neighbors. h) Guest shall be liable for any damage, loss or injury caused by pet. Guest will pay all cost to repair, clean or replace any damage to the property including but not limited to furniture, rugs, floors, walls, doors, screens, windows, window coverings, bedding, cabinets, deck, spa, landscaping, fence, railings and general household items. i) No unapproved pets: Immediate cancellation and your payment will be forfeited. Please do not leave your pet(s) unattended outdoors or indoors during your stay for their safety. The backyard is not completely fenced off.. An unattended dog in unfamiliar surroundings can cause damage indoors or become resourceful outdoors when looking for their owners. We are also in a mountain setting and there is wildlife that could cause harm to an unattended or attended to pet. Please be honest with yourself and with us if you feel that your pet(s) may not be suitable for our cabin – please make other arrangements for your pet(s) to stay home. ↑ ↑ Check-Out time is no later than 11:00am. Due to sufficient time needed to prepare the cabin for our next guests, early check-in and late check-out is generally not available. A $25 late check-out fee charged in 30-minute increments plus any and all costs incurred by the host for enforcement. Noncompliance with any house rules may result in cancellation of remainder of the reservation without refund. Fines imposed by Big Bear Code Compliance for any guest violation of City/County Ordinance rules are strictly the responsibility of the guest. Guest is responsible for additional costs associated with rules enforcement, including costs of property manager service call to address violations. Central AC is not typical for mountain cabins. Powerful oscillating circulator fans are also provided in all rooms. Please be aware that weather conditions can change rapidly especially during winter months. We are unable to honor last-minute cancellations due to weather/road conditions. Chains or 4WD/AWD vehicle requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Guests booking a stay in the winter should be prepared for the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. We recommend arriving before dark; guests arriving late during the winter months may encounter icy roads and long delays.
