About this place

Tranquil old farmhouse

Barely modern 1888 farmhouse. If you need 5-star luxury, keep looking. If you like indoor plumbing and solitude book now! Pets welcome & horse stalls available. Enjoy the peace or trail ride directly into Beaver Creek State Park (a trailhead is right across the road). Chase ghosts at Gretchen’s Lock, visit Pretty Boy Floyd’s death site, or hunt for vintage treasures at Rogers Flea Market (5 miles away on Fridays). The ultimate basecamp for low-maintenance adventurers & their animals!

The space
One bedroom has a split-King with Purple mattresses and adjustable frames for optimum comfort. The second bedroom has a Full and a Twin to choose from. There is a full bath with an over-size walk in shower.

There is a porch and a patio, each with a 2 person swing. There is also a firepit with 6 chairs.

The TV has Roku set for "guest mode" so you can log into your own streaming services and the device will automatically log out and forget your information after checkout.

Large driveway is easy for most people to turn horse trailers around.

Guests access the house with a smart lock that has their own unique pincode.

This place is in the country set on several acres. There's wildlife and bugs. By booking, guests acknowledge this and waive their right to complain or request a refund for this reason.

Guest access
The whole first floor is yours to enjoy. There is a barn with 5 stalls that can be added to your stay for $25/stall. Just add the number of pets to your reservation. Two other barns on the property are off limits to guests.

Other things to note
We welcome horses & pets! Please review our Additional House Rules regarding mandatory liability waivers and health papers before finalizing your booking.

🐾 Pet & ESA Note: Our home is pet-friendly! Please note that in accordance with Airbnb policies, Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are classified as pets and require the standard pet fee. Please ensure you select the correct number of "Pets" when booking so the platform can accurately calculate your stay. Please cover any beds or furniture that you will be allowing your pet to be on to help avoid too much dirt or hair from getting directly on these items.

This is a 140 year old house! It's seen some things. Although I grew up in this house and never experienced any weird phenomena, there is a Ouija board on sight if you're feeling adventurous.

Getting around

NOTE: A one-lane bridge on Echo Dell Road CANNOT accommodate vehicles with trailers or RVs. You must approach Rocky Ridge from Sprucevale Road or Leslie Road. There are signs warning people not to go down the road with trailers but you will get to Rocky Ridge before you get to the bridge. Rocky Ridge will be on the right. There are three driveways that converge into one. Either of the first two drives should be easy with a trailer. If you pass all three drives, there is a turn around area on the left before you continue down the hill toward the park and the one lane bridge.
