ABOUT US & THE CABIN
Hi, we’re Tom & Juvi — builder/owners/hosts of Bärkada Cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. We designed and built this home the way we’d want a mountain getaway to feel: comfortable, peaceful, high-quality, and loaded with thoughtful extras.

The name Bärkada blends our heritages: “Barkada” is Filipino for “a meeting of friends,” and “Bär” is German for bear. This cabin was created as a place where friends and families can reconnect, recharge, and enjoy one of the best long-range mountain views in Blue Ridge.

With three decades of design/build experience, we set out to combine the best features of high-end mountain cabins with the comfort and function of a real home. The view demanded something exceptional — so that’s what we built.
