Welcome to Avenca, the Scandi-inspired tiny house where city meets the beach. This former workman's cottage has been fully renovated with all the comforts and has a the perfect location for a great Lisbon getaway: 3 minutes walk to the shops, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 5 walk to the train station (10 minutes to Cascais, 20 minutes to Lisbon).
Avenca has been completely overhauled since September 2023 and will be launched early May 2024. Photos forthcoming

Getting around

The house is 500 meters away from the train station (Parede) where you can get the trains to Cascais (approx 15 minutes westbound) or Lisbon (approx 25 minutes eastbound). There is also a bus stop a few hundred meters away (for different locations in Cascais, Carcavelos, CascaisShopping, etc). Renting a bike is a good option to explore the beaches nearby.
Having a car will allow you to explore further afield.
Depending on the time of the day, LIS airport is 25 and 60 minutes away by car and at least 1h 30 minutes away by public transportation (train and metro).

Access to the property is done through a smart lock Prior to your arrival 1) download the Danalock app to your smartphone from Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.polycontrol.ekey from Apple App Store https://itunes.apple.com/dk/app/danalock/id768685462 2) activate the link that you received the day before you arrive 3) Use the green padlock to open the door and the red padlock to close the door TIP: Keep the Bluetooth always on

Payment Policy

Full payment (reservation + security deposit) to be done in EURO upon reservation (Paypal, revolut or bank transfer)

Refundable Damage Deposit

500 security (damage deposit) to be paid with reservation (paypal or revolut). Deposit is refunded after checkout house inspection (via paypal or revolut)

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled more than 60 days before arrival a full refund is provided through the same process received. If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival 50% refund of the amount paid will be returned through the same process received. No refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival.
Any fees incurred with the processing of the refund are to be incurred by the guest and deducted from the amount to be refunded

Notes

Please note that the access to the mezzanine is done through a steep staircase, thus not advisable for people with mobility limitations
