Main Level
The living, dining, and kitchen share one open, light-filled space, so the cook is never left out and the group lands in the same room. The kitchen is built to actually feed nine — a big island to gather around, a full-size range, microwave, and fridge, and a coffee-and-tea station stocked with a Keurig, a drip maker, flavored syrups, and mugs ready to pour. Three bedrooms sit on this level: two with true king beds for real, uncompromised sleep, and a third with a queen. A full bathroom with a tub/shower keeps mornings moving.

Lower Level — the fun
Downstairs is where the trip turns playful. The game room is the real deal: classic arcade cabinets — Pac-Man, NBA Jam, Street Fighter — a pool table, neon, and LED-lit walls that turn an ordinary evening into a tournament. Beside it, the bunk room gives kids or extra guests their own zone, with a full crib ready for the littlest traveler, plus a second full bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower.

Outdoor Living
The backyard is the part people remember. Sink into the hot tub under tall, mature trees, take a few putts on the private putting green, and gather at the outdoor dining table as the string lights come on over the Adirondack lounge. The whole yard is fenced and private, tucked back enough that the day genuinely slows down.

Two spaces stay locked for owner storage and aren't part of the rental — the upstairs hallway closet and the downstairs utility closet. Everything else is set up for your comfort and ease.

You're staying in Patty Jewett, one of Colorado Springs' established, century-old neighborhoods — known for wide tree-lined streets and a quiet, residential feel, just north of the historic Old North End. The area grew up around the Patty Jewett Golf Course, a public course dating to 1898, whose bar and grill is open to the public and looks out toward Pikes Peak.

It's a calm, settled base that still keeps you close to the city. Downtown Colorado Springs is roughly ten minutes away, and the region's marquee outings — Garden of the Gods, the Pikes Peak gateway and cog railway, Old Colorado City, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo — are all a short drive. Plan on having a car. Colorado Springs spreads out, and the outings worth the trip — Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, the canyons — are reached by driving; what looks close on a map is often a short drive in practice. Parking here is easy: a rock driveway with garage access.

The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is about a 20-minute drive and has on-site rental cars. Many visitors fly into Denver International (DEN) instead, roughly 70 miles north (about an hour and a half by car). Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) operates in town, and a few districts — downtown, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs — are walkable once you're there.

A few details to set expectations, so everything feels easy from the start:

For your security and ours, there's an exterior doorbell camera at the front door, facing the entry only. There are no cameras anywhere inside the home.

This is a calm, established residential neighborhood, and quiet hours apply. The home is a wonderful fit for families and groups who want an easygoing home base — it isn't a venue for parties or events.
Colorado Springs rewards having a car — Garden of the Gods, the Pikes Peak gateway, and most of the area's highlights are an easy drive, and there's plenty of parking here.
