<h2>🌊 BEACH INFORMATION</h2>
The beach fronting Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that affect its size and accessibility.&nbsp;During fall and winter, sand may temporarily wash away but typically returns in spring and summer.&nbsp;Our HOA, the County of Maui, and the State of Hawaiʻi continue working to restore Kahana Bay.&nbsp;If beach access is limited, a public beach access is located within a 5-minute walk.<em>(Photos from 1/16/23 show usable beach, but this is not guaranteed year-round.)</em>
<h2>🐓🦎 PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS</h2>
Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko.Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi — please don’t harm them.&nbsp;The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life.&nbsp;Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you notice excessive activity — we’ll coordinate with the HOA.
