Located on the Golden Mile of Myrtle Beach (74th Ave N) within the Sand Dunes Resort — a two-tower oceanfront complex — the neighborhood is a classic Grand Strand resort strip: direct beach access, high-rise condos, pools, hot tubs and lazy river amenities, on-site casual restaurants and short-term rental activity. Nearby points of interest include Ocean Drive/Main Street attractions to the north, several beachfront arcades and mini-golf courses, Surfside shopping plazas and family entertainment along the Grand Strand. The vibe is tourist-oriented and lively in high season, quieter in winter.
Most guests get around by car, rideshare or local taxi. The immediate area is walkable for beach visits, pool, on-site dining and a few convenience shops; however grocery stores, larger restaurants and off-beach attractions are a short drive. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft), local taxi services and seasonal shuttle/trolley routes operate along the Grand Strand. Car rentals are recommended for flexibility and for visiting state parks, Brookgreen Gardens and nearby towns.
