📌 Things to Know
• The cabin is reached via a paved incline - gentle by Smoky Mountain standards, but if mountain driving is new to you, take it slow and in low gear. You'll be a pro after your first trip up! Trailers and motorhomes are not permitted.
• Flat, paved parking for up to 4 vehicles right at the cabin entrance.
• Upper and lower levels are accessed via spiral staircases - guests who prefer fewer stairs can enjoy the full main-level suite and living spaces.
• Gas fireplaces (main living room and primary suite) available October 1–March 31.
• Quiet paved country roads with limited lighting at night - arriving during daylight makes for a much more scenic first impression.
• Secluded in a wooded setting - listen for owls, spot deer, turkeys, or even bears. It's all part of the authentic Smoky Mountain experience!
• Bear-proof trash bin and regular pest control provided.
• Safety: smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit on site. Exterior cameras cover the front porch and parking area only - no cameras inside the cabin.
