Whispering Pines & Shouting Rocks is tucked into 3.3 wooded acres near Roche-A-Cri Creek, offering a peaceful cabin experience close to lakes, golf, and trails. The setting feels secluded but is only a short drive to Sand Valley Golf Resort, Lake Arrowhead, and Roche-A-Cri State Park. Guests love the mix of rustic log-cabin charm and easy access to outdoor recreation — fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying nature’s quiet soundtrack.

Please note that the main road is under construction and temporarily unpaved until spring 2026, but it remains easily drivable.

🦌 Wildlife – This is a secluded, wooded property. Expect deer, bats, and other animals.
🐾 Pets – If you bring a dog, the $125 pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting “Yes” to pets.
• Want to add an extra dog? Please message us for approval — an additional $125 pet fee applies and will be invoiced separately.
• Please clean up after your pets and bring blankets/crates to protect furniture.
👥 Guest capacity – Up to 6 guests are included in the booking total at Whispering Pines.

• 🪪 Guest verification is required before arrival through our secure Hospitable guest portal. Verification includes a government-issued photo ID and identity confirmation.

• 🛡 A refundable security deposit hold of $250 is required for Airbnb, direct bookings, or other booking platforms except VRBO prior to check-in. This is a temporary authorization hold only and is automatically released after checkout provided no damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or rule violations occur during the stay.

• 🏡 VRBO reservations follow VRBO’s platform-managed security deposit process and policies.

• ⏳ Guest verification and applicable security deposit authorization must be completed at least 72 hours before arrival to avoid delays in receiving check-in instructions.
