When one thinks of a holiday in Bali, they often conjure an image of a private pool villa overlooking lush tropical jungle or beautifully tranquil rice paddies, but those villas at the luxury resorts are few and very expensive. Samastiti is a hidden gem among your options in Ubud. It is right on the main road, steps from the Monkey Sanctuary and near all the shops and restaurants, yet at the end of a private walking path leading towards the jungle, away from the commotion and noise of the street for complete privacy and peace. Every possible need has been thought of and every luxury that could fit into this perfect two bedroom villa has been provided. The negative edge pool, flanked by fruit-bearing vines and an unobstructed view of the jungle and nearby rice-paddies below, seems to float in the jungle canopy. It is the perfect place to unwind with a cold Bintang after a long hot day of site-seeing. You might leave long enough for dinner and drinks at one of the many great restaurants nearby, but you'll find yourself hurrying back for a moonlight soak before retiring for the evening in a comfortably airconned room on a four poster platform bed complete with luxury linens and extra pillows. The only place more happy than the pool might be taking a cool bubble bath in the outdoor bathroom among the palm trees and koi fish in the pond surrounding your tub. Desak, the caretaker, welcomes you with a chilled juice and she can answer questions you may have about the property or area businesses nearby. Plan on hiring a driver, I recommend Wyn Tono as his car is very comfy and he knows the area inside and out. His number is provided in the information book on the bar. I've stayed in luxury villas all around the world, and Samastiti competes easily with all of them. I didn't want to leave and I plan on returning as soon as I can.

This was our first Indonesia trip and this is the first property we ever stayed in Indonesia. The property and the host made us fall in love with Indonesia. The property is at a very nice location with a beachfront. The property has a very well architecture and very well ventilated. The lovina is around 3 hour drive from Denpasar Airport and you can easily find transfers in around 900.000 IDR. Kadek is a wonderful host who has been helping us with our households. A special Wayan, who is a very sweet smiling guy. He was always there for us for our needs. Always up to give us a ride to local market yo gather supplies. He also helped us to book our trips for local Planklets and Dolphins and Lovina day tour. The beach front is magical in the evening to sit with your friends and loved ones and enjoy the sunset with crashing waves over a sip of wine or beer. We absolutely fell in love with this. The pool is very well designed to cater the needs of beginners and experienced. Most of our time here was spent either by the beach or by the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed along with automatic washing machine. We absolutely had everything in place that we needed. Thanks for the experience. We absolutely loved it.

We had a chance to stay in samastiti place the nest during July the host is excellent right from checkin to responding in any problem they have a great pool nice kitchen with all accessories and some basic groceries like salt pepper coffees the bathroom is so clean and the products they had in bathroom are of great quality This place has beautiful view of ocean and you can ask host to arrange for dolphin sighting early in the morning which will start right near the stay There is a restaurant nearby which has OK OK food but there are some great cafes and restaurants 15 minutes from place we came in the can arranged by host at a nice price who took us to the property and also we came from ubud so we came exploring places on the way like handara gate uludanu beratan temple strawberry fields etc..., Best place best host I will recommend this to anyone we were able to stay only for a day but I recommend two or more days to explore the property we can enjoy under stars in their Terracetub

If you want to try the other side of Bali then try Samastiti1 (loveshack) it is a very comfortable basic timber beachfront shack with great staff (Kadek, Putu and Wayan) and service. Our flight was delayed 5 hours so we did not arrive until late but Wayan was there when we arrived to make sure we were ok, Putu fetched water for us when the large bottled water ran out, Kadek looked after us with fresh paw paw from the garden and suggested sights to see including the Banjar Hot Spring, the Buddhist temple Brahmavihara-Arama, and the Hindu Pura Dalem Jagaraga Temple all a relatively easy drive away. She also organised a massage and a worthwhile snorkeling trip to Menjangen Island. The location is right on the beach lined with fishing boats, where the kids splash in the water and retrieve the kites from the kite fights in the field behind the shack. It is not really a swimming or long walk beach but it is interesting and relaxing with only a couple of wandering hawkers. If you are staying for more than a night or two your own scooter / car is worth it both to explore a little and get supplies (it is a couple kilometers to groceries/atm etc). A few more kilometers and you are in Lovina which is a bit tired but there is a nice relaxed beachfront Warung NEMO just down from the center. There is also an excellent cheap Warung MEME SRI on the main road within walking distance which has a deck out the back overlooking the rice fields. Thank you Kadek, Putu and Wayan.

Villa Seaview is fabulous!! Great location ( very easy to find from the directions given) The view is ever changing and totally bewitching The house is comfortable and very well equipped The house reef off the beach has so much to see, I spent hours out there! The snorkeling kit in the house is very adequate. The pool, the gazebo, the outside space is all amazing So it's a great place and a great stay And then I need to mention the staff...... Komang the housekeeper is such a sweet lady. Nothing is too much trouble. She cleans and cooks everyday with a smile and a light heart. Her cooking is fabulous 😋. There is an in - house menu for you to choose from or you can ask her to do whatever you wish. Not on the menu....... But definitely should be is her fish soup. I had barracuda fish soup, so delicious and enough for 2 meals. Komang, her husband, drives (Airport runs, tours trips and is a careful and attentive driver) does boat trips, snorkeling and diving and dolphin watching. They both speak good English and were a delight every day Gede kept the pool and garden immaculate They make a great team and villa seaview is so much richer for their presence. You won't regret booking this villa Thank you team Seaview 😁😁🥰🥰

We stay only 1 night in this charming villa as other days were booked by other guests . We enjoyed that a lot! outdoor open air shower and bathtub was perfect to relax . The mattress was very comfortable. The linens are high quality cotton, clean and all new and fresh ! Garden is fantastic! And it’s first time In Bali I saw modern antimosquito nets 😁🙏🙏🙏🙏 on the windows! We were slipping with open windows fresh air (we don’t like to use Aircon) and there were no mosquitoes in the room !!! Devi also kindly sent to us tropical fruits basket as a surprise 😮🌸❤️ Thank you so much , we will definitely comeback and recommend to all our friends !!! Great value for money !!! we have breakfast included rate , it’s was delicious - smoothie bowl was especially good. if possible , next time we would like to book the room and airport transfer from you with Wayan , he is very friendly and showed us great places around Ubud. I loved the house before to enter, as the area is unique, you are at 3 minute from the very centre of Ubud, but you stay in an oasis of peace ,surrounded by rice field, with many typical restaurants, cafes, spas and yoga studios. the house itself is very charming, it is a wooden house, with plenty of natural light, located in a zen garden with ponds, plants and so on. all the environment is very special, cozy. I loved my stay, internet was fast, good water pressure in the shower, clean and dry. I have already requested to save the house for me for my next trip in Bali. Highly recommended
