Melinda was extremely responsive and helpful both prior to our arrival as well as throughout our stay, typically responding within minutes. The home was very clean and well furnished with many helpful amenities to make our stay even more pleasurable. The beds were all extremely comfortable and the living room was cozy and welcoming. Check out procedures were simple and easy to follow; we felt like we had been staying with a family member and would love to come back to stay again. Highly recommend staying with Melinda!

We had a great time at Jane’s place! It was in a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. It was easy to get inside with the instructions we got prior to arrival. The place was very clean! They allow pets (but not on the furniture) but I didn’t notice any dog hair at all. We have 2 dogs so I know how hard it is to keep a place clean with pets and she does a great job! The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic cookware supplies I needed to make meals and cookies. There was a keurig and regular coffee pot available. There were plenty toiletries for us for our stay. Jane always responded quickly to my messages. They have done a great job making the place the perfect Airbnb for their guests. We live in a city nearby and hope we can return to this Airbnb or another one of Jane’s properties in the future! Thanks for having us!

The patio garden just outside the front door is canopied with tree branches that offers a great sunscreen on hot days. Its like a private retreat spot. Entering the house is a treat for the eyes. The feeling is one of being truly at home. The amenities are abundant - a cozy blanket on the couch, live plants situated all over, a beautiful box of bakery cookies and a handwritten note from the host welcoming us to his house (an extra special treat), tea and coffee available for guests as well as other items not typically found in Airbnb rentals, and a lot of other special touches that made us know that we had picked the best Airbnb in Lawrence. The host is absolutely the most attentive person we have ever dealt with. He answers any and all questions promptly and is very courteous. He actually went out of his way to accommodate our needs as to why we were in Lawrence. There are simply not enough good things to say about him.

My Family and I all enjoyed our week stay at The KANtucky Derby house! Nicole who is the property manager defiently goes the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable. We appreciate all the little things she does. This home is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. The beds where extremely comfortable and the towels where soft and big! Each room had its own little decorative set up. My son loved his room down stairs with the large bunkbeds and the hugh Love Sac! All three bathrooms where stocked with your daily needs if you happen to leave something behind. Nicole was very responsive from the moment I initially messaged her all the way up to leaving. She also put together a Popular Attractions & Restaurants plus MORE Fun Things To Do based on some of the things we told her we liked. The house was fully stocked from the kitchens cooking needs to the coffee bar to having charcoal for the BBQ. The house was in a very nice neighborhood as well and close to many things.. food, grocery, etc. So Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience during our visit. We appreciated your consideration and generosity and for being such an amazing host! Our experience at your place was fantastic. We look forward to staying again on our next Family visit.

James was such a wonderful host! He really worked with me on check in time and our last minute plans for a death in the family. He was so friendly and thoughtful to help our stay during a difficult time. The home is undergoing renovations as it was described, so be aware some things are still older and in need of an update. Overall, the home was well kept and clean. We had ample space and the stocked refrigerator with drinks was so nice upon our arrival. We would recommend James’ place and would stay again! I’m sure it will be even more ideal when his renovations are completed.

This space was everything we wanted and more and the views from the patio on a cool morning were what my dreams are made of. The host was wonderful to communicate with and everything was so clean and cozy. After this trip, we are already planning on staying here next time we visit the area.

I very much enjoyed my stay in this lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts provided clear instructions making checking in and out effortless. The fully stocked kitchen was great and had everything I needed to cook meals. I was visiting by myself, however the large dining room, sitting room, and family room provide plenty of space for activities. If you’re not bringing the whole family along, then you can have your choice of bedrooms though. I found the second floor bedrooms to be cozy place to sleep. Ample clean bedding and towels made it easy to settle in as well. I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again next time I visit Saint Marys.
