How do I cancel a payment request I sent to a guest?
To cancel a payment request sent to a guest please follow these instructions:

You can cancel a pending custom charge you sent to a guest. The main balance payment request cannot be cancelled from the reservation page - see the note at the end.
To cancel a custom charge
Open the reservation, either from the Reservations page or from the reservation details panel on the right of the guest’s message thread.
Use the Payments pill in the section bar at the top, or scroll to the Payment Status card.
Under Pending extra charges you will see each charge you sent that the guest has not paid, marked Pending, with the note you wrote and Payment link sent to guest beneath it.
Click Cancel at the right of the charge. It is cancelled immediately - there is no confirmation step. If the guest opens the payment link afterwards, they see This payment request has been cancelled by the host.
Two limits to know about
A hold the guest has already authorised cannot be cancelled this way. Houfy will tell you to release it instead, because the authorisation is already sitting on their card.
A charge the guest has already paid cannot be cancelled. Refund it instead, from the payment’s Refund link in the same Payment Status card.
The main balance payment request
This works differently. There is no cancel button for it. It stops being payable on its own once the balance is settled - collect it, mark the reservation as fully paid, or record an outside payment from Actions. If the booking itself is going away, cancel the reservation and the link stops working with it.
