- Select the Quote you want to delete -> Click plus -> Quote -> View quotes -> Click on the quote to delete
- Go to the reservation details section. Click "Delete this quote"
- Confirm to delete the quote

Hosts who send booking quotes to guests through Houfy.
Before you start
- Make sure you have already created a quote from your Houfy Dashboard → Quote section.
Steps
Check how long your quote will stay valid
- Log in to your Houfy account.
- Click your Profile picture (top-right corner) and select Quotes from the menu.
- Find your quote.
Look through your list of sent quotes. - Open the quote details.
Click View quotes to view all information. - Check the “Quote Validity” field.
- If a period like 1 day or 1 week is selected, the quote will expire automatically after that time.
- If it says Always valid, the quote stays active until deleted.
Set the validity period when creating a quote
- Go to the Plus (+) menu at the top of your Houfy page.
- Click Quote to create a new quote.
- Fill in the quote details.
Add your guest’s name, dates, and pricing. - Under “Quote Validity,” choose how long it should stay active.
Select 1 day, 1 week, or Always valid. - Send the quote to your guest.
Once sent, it will expire automatically only after the chosen period ends.
Delete a quote manually
- Log in to your Houfy account.
- Click your Profile picture (top-right corner) and select Quotes from the menu.
- Find the quote you want to delete in your list.
- Click View Quote to open its details.
- Scroll to the Reservation details section.
- Click Delete this quote.
- When asked to confirm, click Yes, delete.
Troubleshooting
- Guest says the quote link doesn’t work: The quote may have expired. Send a new one.
- Forgot to set validity: The quote will remain active until you delete it.
- Deleted a quote by mistake: You’ll need to create a new quote—deleted ones cannot be restored.

Can I edit the validity period later?
No. Delete the old quote and create a new one with your desired validity.
