Y'all. This place is a new must visit when we come up. The service is warm, kind and super attentive... . The food is amazing! It was so wonderful to eat by the creek on the patio! Can't wait to go back!

Cornerstone Bakery - 1712 Sudderth Dr - Known for their breakfast and brunch. Gets crowded, so arrive early! They will give the kids pastry dough to make their own creations while they wait.

Alto Cafe - 810 State Hwy 48, Alto - This is our absolute favorite place to eat in (or near) Ruidoso. It's less than a 10-minute drive from Fore Bears Lodge. They have amazing breakfast, hand-breaded chicken fried steak, and a Friday catfish buffet. Great portion sizes and family friendly prices!

It's a great place, reasonably priced, good service, mixed clientele, about to head that way for a l... ate breakfast, and we went Friday for their catfish buffet. We've had to wait a while a few times, but not often at all.
