On August 1, 2017, our first guest, Mrs. Alejo, booked us on Airbnb, taking a chance on a property with zero reviews to travel from Rhode Island so she could bring her young child to Santa's Village for two nights. We had a minimum stay requirement of three nights, but she asked, and we made our first exception.
It's been nine years, and we've all come a long way. We learned, updated, and constantly invested in the property, and we have endured, just like the mountains that surround us and the Milky Way above us—hallmarks of staying on Bray Hill.
This weekend, we are hosting our 297th stay, and Santa's Village is more popular than ever. We are grateful to all past, present, and future travelers who escape to the mountains to be with their families and friends and make memories together that also endure. To me, The Bray Hill House is the calm in the storm that brings peace in a sometimes hectic world.
