Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center
a nature preserve in Port Aransas, Texas. A fun free thing to do while you are in Port A. The beginning of the small trail has native plants that are labeled so you can get to know the plants that grow in this part of Texas. Then you walk on a boardwalk to see so many beautiful coastal birds and the neighborhood alligators in the wetlands. One alligator is about 12 feet long we saw him under the observation deck gazebo!
