5 amenities that create an extra magical fall vacation experience

The magic is in the details.

There is so much to love about Carlton Landing in the Fall. But staying at The Lodge on Twinkle Lane levels up that already magical experience.

Not only does cozy & calm surround you at every turn (thanks to the warm colors, wooden walls & cozy furnishings) but I want to share 5 special amenities that will make your Fall vacation extra magical at The Lodge.

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for our newly released CL podcast episode 15: Why Fall in Carlton Landing?

1. TWO FIREPITS & FREE FIREWOOD. You'll enjoy the wood burning chiminea on the front porch that looks upon Park Street as well as the gas burning firepit on the private courtyard that opens up onto Twinkle Lane.

So, whether you love starting a wood-burning fire (like Adam) or that intimidates you (like me), you'll have the best of both worlds. And don't worry about remembering wood. We have you covered.

The courtyard firepit is surrounded by a table ledge that makes it easy to build smores or play games around the fire. Firepit time with those you love most, wrapped up in the warm Mexican blankets & sipping hot tea will be your favorite memories.

2. FOOTBALL STATIONS GALORE. Nothing says Fall like gathering around the TV to watch your favorite teams play. We have Sling TV (orange & blue + the sports package), so there will be no shortage of games & channels to indulge in.

Not only that, but our living room can comfortably sit 8 with plenty of floor space for sitting & more chairs you can bring in.

The chef's kitchen has every kitchen item you'd need to cook up all your favorite game foods + an extra long & wide island to serve it all on.

3. EPSOM SALTS FOR LONG HOT SOAKS. The downstairs master has a high-backed, clawfoot tub that comfortably supports your head & envelopes you in it's serene warmth.

We provide unscented epsom salts to add to the water, creating a therapeutic bath experience. If you spend too much time at the pickle-ball courts & your muscles are screaming at you, we have you covered.

So, put your kids to bed & break out that book & favorite music station for the perfect end to a perfect day.

4. HOT BEVERAGE BAR. Nothing says Fall like chai, hot cocoa, tea & marshmallows. You'll especially love our delicious chai tea latte drink mix.  In fact, guests love it so much, multiple wanted to know the brand so they could drink it at home!

We also provide hot cocoa, marshmallows & a VAST variety of teas. Your hot beverage desires will be thoroughly met (& exceeded)! And of course, you'll have a milk frother to make your latte extra beautiful.

(Admittedly not the most beautiful picture, but the only one I happened to snap last Fall)

5. GAMES, GAMES & MORE GAMES. With the sun setting earlier & nights being chillier, it's common to spend more time indoors. This lends to more family time sitting around playing games & doing puzzles together.

At The Lodge, we provide an amour, drawer & closet full of a variety of games, including chess, poker, board games, card games as well as puzzles, legos, Calico Critters, Lincoln Logs, action figures, & foosball.

For those chilly mornings & evenings when the kids want to stay inside, rest assured there will be PLENTY for you to enjoy together (or them alone while you get some "me time", sipping your coffee on the courtyard rocking in the ultra comfy chairs in peace).

The Lodge has a very spacious living room, dining & kitchen which makes for the perfect place for group games! Last Christmas, we played a 17 person "the seran wrap game" comfortably around the large island & the kids also played "Ninja arms" & "leg wrestling" (& arms too;) in the living room!

The Lodge is perfect for multi-family gatherings!
