Shaw’s- in Ludlow is TEMPORARILY CLOSED, BUT YOU CAN ORDER ONLINE AND PICK UP GROCERIES ..CLICK ON THE STORE LINK BELOW FOR ORDER INFORMATION.......there is a Shaw's. We usually stop there as well and do my shopping before I get to the cottage. It's about 15 minutes before you reach the house. Not to be missed are their homemade tortilla chips. Those coupled with Green Mountain Gringo Salsa is the best!
Okemo Valley Nordic Center Okemo Valley Nordic Center The Okemo Valley Nordic Center is located only one mile from Okemo Mountain Resort off Route 103 North on Fox Lane. 22km of cross-country trails, 13 km of dedicated snowshoe trails, and 8 km of skating lanes, tree skiing, and terrain that winds its way through meadows and hillsides. Modern trail grooming and a variety of Nordic terrain make Okemo Valley ideal for all ability levels.

Okemo Mountain is a nice family oriented ski area. The Jackson Gore entrance is only 10 minutes down the road from the cottage.
