Two weeks in a Rome flat inspired the shed-to-tiny house conversion to offer an exclusive upmarket accommodation option. I'm retired from the Virginia judiciary and work as a Zoom-based mediator, conflict coach and educator. On a personal note, I am insatiably curious about many things, love British mysteries and appreciate experiencing other countries. I like local history and volunteer at the front desk at The Hidden Smith Center in Staunton, where I have the opportunity to welcome visitors and provide information to make their travels memorable.

Co-Host David, is a common fiddler (the musical kind), artist, attorney, author, intermittent beekeeper, whip-smart Russian motorcycle sidecar wielder with a penchant for moving heavy objects and consuming generously-iced cupcakes. His home is a former African Methodist Episcopal church and he's restoring the home of a formerly enslaved person.
