A walk around my house and garden will show you pretty much everything you need to know about me. I'm an Anglophile‐‐my favorite place on earth is Northern England's Lake District. My favorite vacation was a week in Keswick, a hike along Hadrian's Wall, and a week hiking in Yorkshire. I'm a gardener, a foodie, and a Stephen Sondheim 'fan'atic. My motto is captured in these words from Rumi: 'Abundant blessings to you. Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.' My job as host is to create a comfortable space, offer a heartfelt welcome, and then get out of the way; although I may invite you to share a cup of tea or a glass of wine as we celebrate the miracle that is southern California.
