There are hikes for all abilities in the White Mountains. When we started hiking my little one was just 4 years old and my oldest was 7. They are now several years older and are making their way through the 48 4000 footers and this summer conquered...
At 4,003 ft. Mt. Tecumseh just barely makes the list and is the smallest of the official 48 4,000 peaks in NH. It's located in Waterville Valley, NH and the Waterville Valley Ski area is located on Mt. Tecumseh.
Mt. Jackson is ranked #39 on the list of the 48 4000 footers and it was our 2nd 4000 footer.
