Watavu - Ocean View With Hot Tub - Southern Shores

The beautiful view of the ocean is just one of the many features of this wonderful beach house. Nestled in the dunes in a private area of Southern Shores on the Outer Banks, Watavu (what-a-view) is your own charming vacation retreat and is just a short stroll to the beach. The house has four bedrooms (2 with deck access), 2 1/2 baths, a great room with cathedral ceiling, skylights and a spacious upper deck and assures you comfort and convenience that is unbeatable.

In addition to the ocean view, Watavu has all the amenities you are looking for. Updated kitchen, dishwasher, ice maker, microwave, garbage disposal, hot tub, wireless Internet access, 4 cable TVs (2 with DVD players, 1 with VCR/DVD), CD player, telephones and answering machine, full size laundry room, gas grill, enclosed outside shower, bicycles, beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, high chair and port-a- crib are just a few of the amenities provided for your vacation enjoyment.

Additionally, each bathroom has a roll of toilet paper, box of tissues, liquid hand soap, and air freshener. In the kitchen, there is a roll of paper towels, liquid detergent, and dishwasher detergent. There is also a cabinet with spices, etc. which all renters are welcome to use. We leave plastic wrap, foil, wax paper and plastic bags in one of the drawers. Usually if a renter uses the last of something, they replace it. And there are coffee filters in the cabinet across from the sink.

As a guest at Watavu the short walk (only 3 blocks away) to the private beach access couldn't be easier as a large 'wonder wheeler' is provided for toting chairs, umbrellas, towels, and coolers. You will also have private access to Sound beaches, the marina, 2 oceanfront parking areas and a playground with a special parking permit you receive when the keys are sent to you.

Watavu is also centrally located to the many sites and activities offered on the Outer Banks. You are only 5 minutes from the quaint, waterfront town of Duck, with lots of water sports, charming shops and restaurants and within 20 minutes of 6 golf courses. Enjoy our 4 historic lighthouses, the Wright Bros. Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park, the wild horses of Corolla or visit Roanoke Island (home of the first English colony), Elizabethan Gardens, and NC Aquarium.

**We only rent our home to family groups and those over the age of 25. Signer of the Rental Agreement must be at least 25 years of age and remain on premises during the rental.
