Forget the long drives to the marina. We are situated just 0.2 miles—a brisk 5-minute walk—from the local boat ramp. You can spend your morning on the water and be back on the deck for lunch in minutes. If you would like to rent dock space or watercraft, Hurricane Marina is 10 minutes away.

Note: Our driveway has a classic mountain personality (it’s a bit narrow!), but it provides the privacy and elevation that makes this spot special. We can easily fit your vehicle and trailer (preferably under 16 feet, and for larger craft, docking space is available for rent at hurricane Marina.

The open-concept design features vaulted ceilings and oversized windows that fill the wood-paneled interior with bright, natural light. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for real cooking, from a quick breakfast to a full dinner.

Guest access
Guests will have full and private access to the entire single-level home and the surrounding one-acre property. This includes all interior living spaces, the wrap-around deck, and the private fire pit area.

For your privacy and our storage needs, the following areas are not accessible to guests: the garage, a locked loft space, and a locked storage cabinet located in the main bedroom closet.

The lake and a public boat ramp with free parking are an easy 5-minute (0.2 miles) walk from the cabin.

I am the new owner and host, and I’m committed to maintaining the same high standards of comfort, cleanliness, and care while continuing to make thoughtful improvements.

Self check-in is available via smart lock for a smooth, flexible arrival.

Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly! We welcome well-behaved dogs for a flat $60 fee. With nearly an acre of woods to explore, your pup will love the sights and smells of the lake. We ask that pets stay off furniture, crated when you are not in the house, and that you clean up the yard after them.

Boating & Parking: We are just 0.2 miles from the public boat ramp! Our gravel driveway accommodates one small boat (up to 16ft) or jet-ski trailer (up to 8ft). Please note the turn into the driveway is narrow. For larger boats, Hurricane Marina is just 10 minutes away and offers slip rentals for approx. $30/night for a stress-free experience.

Connectivity: Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi (>500 Mbps) throughout the house. Each bedroom features a Smart TV for your favorite apps, and a portable projector capable of connecting to streaming services, bluetooth and WiFi. We provide a dedicated workspace for those who need to stay productive during their stay.

We have a 4 guests maximum unless permission has been given ahead of time. No day guests unless prior approval has been given. To preserve the space and the effort put into maintaining it for our guests, we prohibit parties on the property.

Weather: Since we have no control of the weather, we are not responsible for any issues/power outages due to weather phenomenon.
