Welcome to the East Village and this gem of a studio; a serene and stylish apartment in the heart of New York's coolest neighborhood. Check out the pics, they are recent (Summer 2022).

This is a studio apartment- one room plus a bathroom- but the ceiling is high so it feels spacious, and it more than makes up for its small footprint in luxury and style. The full-sized bed is comfy, the rug is plush, the couch is cushiony, the pillows are thick and downy, and the furniture is cool.
Its a studio; one room, so it's perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.

Getting around

The place is just a few blocks from the L train which will get you almost anywhere in NYC. Also, the N/R subway is nearby. Add Uber and taxis, and the whole city is your oyster... but why would you want to leave the East Village? ;)

I'm lucky to have a cooperative landlord and tolerant neighbors. To keep it that way, I ask of all my guests:

1. No parties.
2. Keep things quiet/discrete in the hallway, so as not to disturb neighbors
3. Please don't loiter in front of the building.
4. It's not suitable for children and infants
5. No smoking
6. Check-in is anytime after 3:00 PM

Notes

This apartment is street-level, which means no stairs to climb. And it’s on 10th Street, a side street, so it’s relatively quiet. Also, I love to accommodate guests, but I usually have same-day departing/arriving, and my housekeeper takes three hours from noon to prepare the place. So I ask that we stick to the guideline of: Checkin 3pm or later, checkout noon or earlier.
