The space
The cabin includes a combined living room and kitchen area, providing space for cooking, dining, and relaxing. The kitchen is equipped for basic meal preparation.

There are three bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, accommodating up to six guests. The cabin has a bathroom with a bio toilet. Electric outdoor shower is available on the terrace.

The property operates off-grid with a 220V power system supplied by solar panels, allowing normal use of lighting and small electrical devices.

The off-grid setup provides a comfortable stay while allowing guests to experience a quiet and simple cabin environment close to nature. The cabin offers basic modern conveniences combined with a traditional cabin lifestyle.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin and the surrounding outdoor areas during their stay.

Other things to note
Hiking and swimming:
There are excellent hiking opportunities in the forests and surrounding nature directly from the cabin. A particularly recommended hike is from the cabin to Befjell, the highest mountain in the district. The distance is about 4 km one way (approximately 8 km round trip). Another popular hiking destination is Himmelsyna, located about a 20-minute drive from the cabin, offering beautiful scenery and great hiking terrain. We recommend downloading the UT app, which makes it easy to find and navigate hiking trails in the area.

At the top of the cabin area there is also a small swimming spot. It is a peaceful and idyllic place where you can enjoy nature privately. If you prefer a sandy beach, this can be found about 10 minutes away by car at Vågdalsfjorden.

Water:
The cabin area has a shared water station where guests can collect clean and good-tasting groundwater free of charge.

Fishing
The Uldalsvassdraget water system is located nearby and offers opportunities for trout fishing. A fishing license is required and can be purchased online.

Wildlife:
The untouched nature in the area supports a rich variety of wildlife. There are many different bird species, and about 1 km from the cabin there is an area known for black grouse mating displays. In the evenings you may also hear roe deer or owls nearby. Tracks from hares are also commonly seen in the area.

Grocery store:
The nearest grocery store is about a 20-minute drive from the cabin: Joker Mykland.

It is about a 45-minute drive to Viltgården, where visitors can see and experience moose up close.
