House Rules & Guidelines:

*Trash Disposal: Use only kitchen trash bags (13 gallons or larger) for disposing of waste in outdoor trash cans. Our garbage service does not collect loose trash or smaller bags.

*Plumbing Care: Flush only toilet paper. No wipes or feminine products should be flushed due to our sensitive septic system. Please avoid disposing of food down the sink.

*Riverbank Preservation: Refrain from throwing stones into the river as they protect against erosion.

*Noise Consideration: Adhere to the outdoor noise curfew of 11:00 pm to respect our neighbors' peace.

*Water Safety: Please be sure that children are supervised by the river and near the hot tub.

*Fishing License: Georgia law requires a fishing license for anyone over the age of 16. You can obtain one at the local Walmart close by.

Rental Terms:

*Age Requirement: The primary guest must be at least 25 years old and may need to provide age verification. Responsibility for other guests and visitors falls to the primary guest. We do not permit sub-letting or parents renting on behalf of underage children.

*Occupancy & Fees: The standard rate is for six guests. Additional guests over the age of five will incur a nightly fee of $30, provided they are registered before check-in.

*Damage Responsibility: Guests are financially accountable for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, including extraordinary cleaning needs or unauthorized media purchases.

*Check-In/Out: Standard check-in is after 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am. Any changes will be communicated with at least 24 hours' notice. Unauthorized late check-outs will result in additional charges.

*Refunds: No refunds for early departures, late arrivals, or no-shows. No compensation for events out of our control, like weather or power outages.



Damage & Repairs:

We kindly ask that you inform us of any breakages, damages, or malfunctions as soon as they occur. This allows us to ensure repairs or replacements are promptly made for the next guests or, when necessary, for your continued comfort during your stay. Unreported issues cannot be addressed.
Weather, Storms, & Acts of Nature:

Please understand that refunds cannot be issued for disruptions caused by weather, natural events, or acts of God, such as power or Wi-Fi outages. These circumstances are beyond our control.
Liability & Responsibility:

As our guest, you accept responsibility and liability for the actions and safety of everyone in your group. You and your guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of Ellijay Hideaway against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses related to injuries, death, or property damage occurring on the property, caused by negligence or intentional acts by you or your guests.
Compliance with Property Rules:

Any violation of the property's rules, terms, and conditions by you or anyone associated with you or your guests will be considered a significant breach of this agreement.
Payment Policy:

We welcome payments via Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, or Zelle.


Additional Information:

*Garbage: Bag all trash and place it in the outdoor containers. Excess trash or improper disposal may result in a minimum clean-up fee of $100.

*Hot Tub: If you request additional hot tub servicing during your stay, a $150 charge will apply. Keep the hot tub covered when not in use, and follow the provided safety guidelines.

*Pet Policy: No animals are allowed. Violation will result in a minimum $500 charge for additional cleaning and fumigation.

*TV & Internet: Smart TVs with streaming apps are provided on all TVs. You will need to login with your account information.

*Lost & Found: We are not responsible for lost items, but will hold found items for 30 days before discarding them. A retrieval fee plus shipping costs will apply.

*Fireplaces & Grills: Only use fireplaces and grills as intended and ensure they are fully extinguished after use. We ask that you please clean the griddle after each use with the cleaning supplies provided.

*Maintenance: Report any issues upon arrival or discovery. Delays in repairs may occur, especially on weekends or after hours.

*Parking: Up to 2 vehicles can be accommodated in the designated parking area only.
