Placid Mountain Retreat on top of Beech Mountain - Beech Mountain

As spring emerges, it's the moment to return to the mountains for hiking, winery tour, and sightseeing. Placid Mountain Retreat is located on beautiful Beech Mountain. Few miles to Beech Mountain town center and Overlook Barn. Only a short drive to some savory restaurants in Banner Elk, Wineries, Grandfather mountains, Linville Falls, and all kinds of outdoor activities. Perfect for a quick getaway for relaxing. Come to enjoy the amazing mountain view and sunrise by just sitting on the couch.

Placid Mountain retreat is our recently updated vacation home on scenic Beech mountain. Her mountain majesty is showcased through of wall of windows. Without the hustle and bustle traffic, you can enjoy the beautiful view on the deck. If you and your family are outdoor or ski lovers, the hiking trails, creek and ski resort are literally stone's throw away. Did I mention about the sunrise view? Look no further and this is it.

The space:

- Newly renovated 4BR/3BA mountain home on top of beech mountain. Year-round mountain view and close to local attractions, ski slope, off road UTV tour, River Fall, winery and savory restaurants. Prefect for any gateway in all seasons.

- 4 King beds. Perfect for couples or friends & family retreat. Fits up to 8 people.

- On entry level, there is 1 generous size of bedroom with a King bed and work station and 1 full bath next to it.
- The other 3 bedrooms locates in the lower level. 2nd bedroom is a huge master suite with a King bed and a stand shower full bath. 3rd and 4th bedroom comes with King beds in each and another full bath next to them.

- 42" Roku smart TV with airplay is installed in all bedrooms. Just bring your own password to login to the TV and enjoy your favorite TV program.

- Large and open layout of living and dining room on the entry level offer an abundance of space for gathering and entertaining.
- A 55" Roku smart TV, electric fireplace, various board games, and a 32" electronic infinity game table (30+ games you loved as a kid) in the living room. Great for making bonding with friends and family. All bedrooms come with 42" Roku smart TV.
- Counter Height dining table for 8 people.
- Spacious and fully equipped kitchen next to the dining room with granite countertop bar table and stools for additional seats.
- Serene and scenic mountain view from the deck with a charcoal BBQ grill and a bistro set.

- Paved main road access up to gravel parking lot and few stair steps at the walkway that lead to the front door. The parking lot fits 2 full size SUV or pickup truck easily. Can fit up to 3 mid-size vehicles with a squeeze (2 pulled in one blocking them in). Please do not park on the main road. The town is strict on this. Pls do not bring more than 3 vehicles.

- Fiber optic high speed internet and Wifi in whole house and is capable of handing video conference. Workstation is provided for occasional use.

- Washer and dryer locates in the closet in 4th bedroom on lower level.

-In winter, AWD/4WD vehicles &/or snow chains are strongly recommended to navigate Beech mountain and it is required in the inclement weather, Pls note.

Other details to note:

1. In summer, with the dappled shade from the trees and sitting on 4285 ft high altitude on the mountain, the house is fairly cool. So there is NO air-conditioning in the house. Pls note.

2. This is our family happy vacation home. Due to the severe allergy of my family members, we do NOT accept any pets.
- No smoking
- No partying
- Must be 25 years or older to book
- Occupancy MAX limit is 8 people.
- Our house is your house. Please treat our home as if it were your own.

3. Please respect our neighbors. The quiet time is from 10 pm to 7am.

4. Parking space for 2 large vehicles comfortably or 3 midsize vehicles with a squeeze (2 pulled in one blocking them in). Please do not park on the road and the town is very strict on this.
Please do not bring more than 3 vehicles as there is not enough space.

5. Children must be supervised at all time.

6. You are in nature environment and experience mountain life so you may come across bears, dears, turkeys, bugs, and other critters. Pls respect their space and do not disturb or feed them. Regular pest maintenance cannot eliminate them as Beech mountain is their home. Please DO NOT leave food in cars and be sure to keep windows and car doors locked.

7.Any damage caused by guest will be the financial responsibility of the guest.

8. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests follow the house rules.
