During snowy months, AWD or 4WD is required. The driveway is flat and plowed, and the gravel road leading to the lodge is well maintained for smooth, stress-free winter access.
Stairs Required
Bear Necessities Lodge is an elevated multi-level log cabin. Entry to the main living area and access between floors require stairs.
Security & Wildlife Awareness
Exterior cameras monitor the driveway, stairs, parking area, propane tank, side yard, and greenbelt for guest safety and wildlife awareness. There are no interior cameras.
Wildlife is frequently seen around the property and neighboring greenbelt, including mule deer, elk, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and occasionally black bears. Please enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and never feed or approach animals. To help keep wildlife wild, do not leave food, coolers, or trash outdoors or in parked vehicles.
