Michael, (Valchava) - Val Müstair

The house is located in the upper part of the village. Coming from above, i.e. from the Ofenpass, it is the 4th house on the right. We live in the 3rd house on the right, just below the fountain. If you come from the post office or from Sta. Maria, you go up into the village, just after the blue house on the left, we live above. Due to the bypass road, there is almost no traffic in the village, especially at night. The attic apartment has the entrance at the back of the house, where all the rooms are located. But guests also appreciate the tranquility in the ground floor apartment. You only need a 5-minute walk to the village shop, post office, ATM, and restaurant. The house is quite old, but the apartments have been renovated repeatedly and are nicer than one might expect from the outside. Particularly lovely and cozy attic apartment with a balcony and a magnificent view of the mountains, in a very quiet and sheltered location, facing south. The brand new spacious living area is partly made of Swiss pine wood, at one end there is a seating area with a comfortable large sofa bed and armchairs, a small table, sideboard, and TV, in the middle the kitchen with a pellet stove, at the other end is a large dining table with a unique view and morning sun. The balcony has morning and afternoon sun and is a dream for nature lovers and those seeking peace. The 2 rooms are partly sloped from the roof and rather small, but cozy and made of wood. At the entrance, there is a room for the wardrobe with a closet, an open shelf, and enough space for shoes. From here, there are 2 stairs up to the apartment. In front of the entrance, there is plenty of space for skis, bikes, sleds, etc. A sauna is available for your wellness. Behind the house is a quiet seating area with a lawn in a fantastic, quiet, and south-facing location with a beautiful view of nature. The holiday apartment has its own entrance, and there is a second larger holiday apartment on the ground floor. You can also rent both apartments for groups or simply for two different parties. The house is located in the village center of the flower village Valchava, away from road noise (bypass road). Valchava is situated in the middle of Val Müstair and close to the national park, in the beautiful nature park of the biosphere reserve with unique hiking and biking tours. Even in winter, the valley offers a beautiful ski area, uniquely beautiful snowshoe hikes (guided if desired), and cross-country ski trails in the home of Dario Cologna. In addition, there is a lit toboggan run and ice rinks. But culture lovers will not miss out either. To name just one example, there is a UNESCO World Heritage site to visit here. Through the Vereinatunnel, you have a travel time of 3 hours from Zurich. Check-in: 4:00 PM or by arrangement Check-out: 10:00 AM or by arrangement. Conditions and Extras The tourist tax is not included in the price. The final cleaning is also exclusive and can be paid to me at the end. The first garbage bag is free; others can be purchased at the village shop for a fee. Cancellation conditions: - up to 60 days before arrival: CHF 50.00 processing fee - 59 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the contractually agreed total amount plus CHF 50.00 processing fee - 29 to 0 days before arrival and no-show: 100% of the agreed total amount, without processing fee In high season (July/August, February), I prefer arrival on Saturday and a stay of +- 1 week. At other times, I am flexible.
