• Important to Note: Peace of Heaven cabin is tucked in for that true mountain escape—and with that comes a bit of adventure! While some guests have made it up just fine in a 2-wheel drive vehicle, we highly recommend all-wheel or 4-wheel drive. For guests with standard cars, we provide 1 parking space at the base of the driveway which is .25 miles from the cabin. The gravel driveway is well maintained, but it does have a few curves and steeper sections that can be tricky for standard vehicles. If you're driving a 2WD, turning off Traction Control can help with grip on the incline. We want your arrival to be smooth and stress-free, so please plan accordingly. Guests are responsible for ensuring their vehicle can access the property and for any significant road damage caused by lack of traction.

Peace of Heaven gives you a feeling of complete remoteness as you are settled at the end of the road on 2.8 acres on a mountain ridge. Sound can carry to distant neighboring houses and we just ask that, particularly in the late hours, you please be mindful of this.

The cabin is very close to town and the Polar Express train depot. You can even hear the train whistle from the deck!

The town of Bryson City just continues to get more and more like a Hallmark movie! It's small town feel with quaint boutiques, breweries, and restaurants surrounded by mountains and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad makes you feel right at home with its Southern Charm. The spring and summer months bring festivals and numerous outdoor activities, the fall foliage is magnificent, and the winter brings us The Polar Express and snow skiing at Cataloochee Resort. Harrah's Casino offers fabulous dining and entertainment opportunities. So much to do...Boat Rentals. Rafting. Tubing. Hiking. Biking. Exploring.

Flat gravel parking area at the cabin. Easy to turn around in the parking area. Plenty of parking space. Many guests say that once you make the drive up once, you will feel more confident in your surroundings.
