The 3 1/2-room mountain cabin (52 m2) was completely renovated in 2021. The cozy vacation home with an attached shed is located on the southern slope above Rueun, standing alone amidst an intact mountain landscape. Pasture meadows, forests, and small streams surround the Tegia Cucagna. Enjoy the wide view of the Surselva mountain panorama from the hot tub/HotPot. In spring-summer-autumn, the mountain cabin is accessible via the alpine road from Rueun or Siat (requires a driving permit) with an off-road vehicle (with parking). In winter, the path from Siat to the cabin can be walked with snowshoes. Duration is about 1 ½ hours. For those seeking peace, nature lovers, hikers, climbers, bikers, and in winter snowshoeing, ski touring, winter walks, and with a bit of luck, wildlife watching, it’s simply a paradise. Non-smoking accommodation.
Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms on the upper floor: Cozy bedrooms with two single beds each and a unique view. Each bed is foldable and can be stored under the other bed. The bedrooms have a large shelf for clothes and storage. Additionally, a baby bed is available (foldable travel bed). Bed linen is provided and included in the price. In the living room on the ground floor, the sofa can be converted into a French bed for two more people.
Living area: An open living space with kitchen/dining/living area. In the living room, there is a stove and a cooking island in the middle, a dining table with 4-6 chairs, a sofa bed, and a shelf. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment (free). The PV system provides electricity for lighting as well as for charging laptops and mobile phones or e-bikes. A fully automatic pellet stove and a battery system with a solar boiler for hot water ensure the right comfort.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped and has a gas stove with oven, blender, and an espresso cup (coffee not provided), a raclette oven, and a fondue pot. Kitchen towels are available and included in the price. Compost for green waste is available. Resources such as water, gas, wood, and electricity must be used carefully. Self-sufficient mountain cabin with its own spring and a non-draining wastewater container.
Bathroom: The bathroom has a toilet, a sink with a mirror cabinet, and a shower. Towels must be brought by guests. Note: No hairdryer (uses too much electricity).
Outside: Well, solar outdoor shower for warm summer days, as well as a hot tub/HotPot for a wellness experience.
