Siat has been part of the new municipality of Ilanz/Glion since 2014. The village is located in a terrace hollow on the sunny side of the Surselva. The magnificent view of the surrounding mountains is indescribable. The Maiensäss is ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation in the unique mountain world of Surselva. Both young couples and seniors, families with children, or active guests will find enjoyment at Camona. The Maiensäss Camona Siat is a lovely holiday accommodation in all seasons. On the west side of the house, there is a forest with a path leading to a small mountain stream, suitable for little and big explorers. The village shop in Siat is open from Monday to Saturday. In the town of Ilanz, about 10 kilometers away, there are more shops and shopping centers. A freely accessible parking lot is available in Siat. The walk to Camona takes about 15 minutes in summer and about 30 minutes in winter, depending on the snow conditions. There is also a parking space at the Maiensäss, and a driving permit from the municipality of Ilanz/Glion is required for the trip to the house. This can be obtained during office hours at the municipality of Ilanz/Glion or from the holiday apartment landlord. Non-smoking accommodation. Pets are allowed. Bedrooms:
Two unheated bedrooms in the back part of the hut, each with a double bunk bed (140 cm), blankets and pillows are provided. Bed linen is available and included in the price. It is also possible to bring your own sleeping bag; please inform us when booking.
Kitchen / Living Room:
Well-equipped kitchen with running cold mountain spring water, gas stove, oven, and wood stove (gas, wood, and cleaning supplies are available and included in the price). Up to 8 people can comfortably spend time together at the extendable table with corner bench and 3 chairs. A "natural refrigerator," a stainless steel tub, is located in the floor of the living area. Kitchen towels are available and included in the price. There are various books and magazines as well as games for indoors and outdoors. Everything can be read and played with care.
Bathroom:
True luxury in this mountain world is offered by the toilet and sink with running water. The shower is located outdoors, with a corresponding structure outside the house. Showering with a unique panorama! Please bring your own towels.
Miscellaneous:
Outside, there are various loungers, seating options, two large tables with benches, a sunshade, a mobile sun umbrella, and a grill available. This way, you can fully enjoy the peace, sun, and view. For cooling off, there is a wooden fountain with the most wonderful mountain spring water right in front of the house. The power supply is generated via a solar panel. There is light in every room. With the appropriate connection cable, electronic devices can be charged. Some adapters and the most common charging cables for mobile phones are available. The final cleaning must be carried out by the tenant; any necessary additional cleaning will be charged to the tenant on-site. A waste fee bag (35l) is included; additional bags can be obtained at the handover.
