Lake Nottely with Kayaks/Fire pit/Dock/Pool Table - Blairsville

@MountainLakeBeach presents our popular Lake Nottely cottage with terrific Mountain View’s and year round deep water. Beautifully renovated 2000 sq ft lakeside cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms sleeping up to 8 people (6 adults max) and is dog friendly. We provide a Weber gas grill, a fully stocked kitchen, linens and bedding, Flat screen TV, fast WiFi and Seasonal water toys (2 tandem kayaks, 2 paddle board and lily pad, - Boat NOT included)

DEEP water and gorgeous lake views! Sweetwater Cottage interior was renovated from top to bottom in 2021 including alarm system and smart thermostat, new HVAC/water heater/roof and paint! All new bathrooms, ship lap ceilings & beams and modern lake style decor. The space is over 2000 sq ft and lake cottage style decor. Bedrooms can sleeps 6-8 people (max 6 adults). Main floor has ship lap vaulted ceilings with beams and open living floor plan, gas fireplace, fully stocked updated kitchen and large pantry with tons of extra kitchen gadgets! Main floor has two bedrooms (king and queen) opposite sides of house and two newly renovated bathrooms. Pantry is well stocked with kitchen tools including keurig, drip coffee pot, French press and milk frother, air fryer, waffle iron and more! All rooms have sliding glass doors with access to covered porch facing west for terrific views of mountains and Lake Nottely.

Each bedroom has comfortable beds dressed with mattress covers, pillows, bedding & linens, dresser, night stands with lamps and closets.

Terrace level has TV room with 55” flat screen TV, fireplace, pool table, laundry washer and dryer and full bathroom. A bedroom with a full size over queen size bunk bed, walk-in closet and sliding glass doors to Lakeview’s. Also from this level is the Garage access includes extra fridge and water toys (2 tandem kayaks, 2 paddle boards and lily pad and life vests). Please note both the garage & exterior have security cameras.

Outdoor firepit and paver patio leads down stairs to full deck/dock access (see photos of stairs). Pontoon Boat is NOT included but can be rented from one of the local marinas or north Georgia watersports. There is plenty of space to fish and swim!

We provide: bathrobes, pool towels, one set of bath towels (per guests) starter kitchen supplies of dish tabs and trash bags. Each shower has shampoo and conditioner and body wash (organic bad sulfate free). Free washer and dryer! Please know we provide starter supplies and additional items can be bought at local super Walmart etc. Shopping and dining is all within 10-15 minutes and downtown Blairsville has a selection of restaurants and small shops.

Entire house except for two locked closets which are for the house keeping staff. Mostly personal items are in the garage (paints & garden tools) for the maintenance staff. Guests are welcome to use everything in the cottage.

Blairsville, the county seat of Union County, was incorporated on December 26,1835, and remains the sole incorporated community in the county. The town is named after Revolutionary War veteran, James Blair. Blairsville is appropriately nicknamed "The City of Mountains" and its motto is, "A Place for All Seasons." I love Blairsville; it is one of our most beautiful mountain towns. Blairsville is in a “dry” county meaning the sale of alcohol is limited to beer and wine only unless at a Resturant. Please plan ahead before arriving.

NOTTELY LAKE

Nottely Lake is one of many reservoirs of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). It is located entirely in Union County, Georgia, and within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests. Formed in 1942 by the damming of the Nottely River, Nottely Reservoir extends 20 miles upstream to the town of Blairsville. Construction of Nottely Dam began in 1941 and was completed in 1942. The dam is 184 feet high and stretches 2,300 feet across the Nottely River. Nottely Lake is approximately 20 miles long as well as an average depth of 35 ft, a max depth of 98 feet.

Guests are provided a unique code for use during their stay to control and access the smart home.
