A brand new modern Scandinavian-inspired A-Frame built in 2023, on 12-plus acres with stunning views, is located on a private road and is only 20 minutes to Yosemite National Park's South Entrance.

Solitude Oakhurst. The home features a glass/light-filled front wall with an awesome and breathtaking view that overlooks the valley below and has tons of privacy. Quartz countertops adorn the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a stylish interior, and European wallpaper, in a great location to visit the area must-do's. Relax on the large deck, enjoy the solitude of the property that surrounds you, or visit adjacent Yosemite National Park, Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, Bass Lake, Oakhurst, the Chukchansi Casino, the charming town of Oakhurst, and so much more! Built in 2023, this is about as close as you can get to Yosemite National Park (12 miles), so this is absolutely an ideal location!!

In the winter months enjoy skiing at Badger Pass, located in Yosemite National Park. We hope this is a place you'll return to year after year for your annual trip with the family!

Modern amenities include a 3-hole frisbee golf course, horseshoes, a 1/10 mile hiking trail to a bench with a great view, a large deck with seating for 10, an electric BBQ, central heating and air conditioning, and two Roku TVs. For your safety, besides regular power, our home has a whole home backup generator that will kick on seamlessly if need be as the power goes out often everywhere in the mountains. The home also has solar and a Tesla EV Charger for your electric vehicle!

We also include Starlink Internet for the home with speeds up to 203 MBps.

Access the 1614 square foot three bedroom, two bath home via a gravel driveway just off a paved private road. The main level of the home includes the entrance, open concept kitchen, dining, laundry, living room, and two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. Upstairs is the third large bedroom which can sleep an additional six people by way of two queen beds with two full trundles. No bunkbeds here :) Our home can sleep a maximum of 10 people. Easy access into the home for those with disabilities via one small step. There is plenty of boat/trailer parking as well.

New construction means a Tesla Charger. Please bring any adapters you may need.

Five minutes away is the charming town of Oakhurst, complete with local culinary experiences, delicious dining options, and two supermarkets to get groceries if you wish to cook in our fully stocked open-concept kitchen with brand-new appliances.

Each property in the area is on 5 plus acres. Our home sits on 12 plus acres in a combination of oak, pine, and manzanita tree forest.

We know you have the best and most well behaved dog but we also have had some of those very dogs be excessively dirty and cause damage. If you bring your dog, you MUST supervise it at all times and NOT ALLOW IT ON THE BEDDING OR FURNITURE/LEATHER COUCHES and NEVER LEAVE IT ALONE. We will file a claim if this opportunity is abused. We do wish to keep this opportunity available for responsible and respectful dog owners. Please be sure to include it in your reservation. We reserve the right to deny a dog. Please pick up after your dog please and thank you!

Absolutely no smoking of any kind!!! Any type of fire is illegal in this county!!! Quiet hours begin at 9PM. Please move your conversations at that time inside as our neighbors may need to work in the morning and sound travels through the canyons. A clear identifiable image of yourself is required when a booking occurs as those who host need to know who they are inviting into their homes. There are four Ring cameras, one on the exterior of the front of the house, one on the exterior of the back of the house, one that has a view of the gate to enter the property, and one on a shed. The cameras will be recording during reservations.

It's important to carry chains seasonally above the 3000 foot level if there is snow. Maximum occupancy is 10 and no unauthorized guests are allowed.

A short term rental permit and business license have been obtained and is on file with Madera County.
